Japanese Skin Care Foaming Daily Face Wash for Sensitive Skin, Hydrating Facial Cleanser for Dry Skin, pH-Balanced and Fragrance-Free, 5 Oz (Step 2 of 2-Step Skincare)

I’m amazed at how gentle yet effective this face wash performs. I have rosacea and reactive, sensitive skin. I can’t even use most sunscreens, even the all mineral types. It leaves my face, neck, and chest clean, but not tight or stinging. It’s foaming but still substantial enough with two pumps to adequately lather and feel substantial enough for cleaning. No smell, no fragrance. I’ve tried dozens of products for my very dry, condition ridden skin. None helped and most left my skin greasy and not clean. This does not get rid of redness, but it doesn’t claim to. The most important quality is it doesn’t inflame my conditions and actually cleans my skin. I have tried a couple of products from this line and they are all work well. I really hope they don’t stop making these products. FYI, I received no free products or incentives for this review. I paid full price and am a real customer. I always like to know this when I’m considering reviews.

-Love that it's unscented -Gentle cleanse, it cleans well without being too harsh on the skin, however I don't think this cleanser is strong enough to remove make up so I would not suggest it for people looking for that criteria. -No AHA or BHAs, this makes this cleanser AMAZING if you have a broken skin barrier!! Many cleansing products contain one or the other which hinders barrier healing. -Contains ceramides which help with moisturizing and repairing skin barrier -In general this cleanser has a very clean ingredient list (No fragrance, colorants, oils, sulfates (SLS), or drying alcohols) -As for pricing, it is worth the price especially if you have sensitive skin or you're trying to repair your skin barrier! Yes the bottle is on the smaller side, but there are not a lot of cleansers that is as barrier-healing friendly as this one! -The closest thing I could find that compare to this product is the Etude House Soon Jung Whip Cleanser ($15 for 5fl oz). Both have clean ingredients and are targeted for barrier repairing. The biggest difference is that Curel's product focuses more on deep hydration so it's great for those with tight, dry, compromised skin and Soon Jung's product focuses more on calming redness, inflammation, and breakouts.

My wife has facial skin that dries easily. She was really struggling with dry skin one winter when I decided to give this Curel Japanese brand a shot for TWO major reasons. Firstly, we love Curel unscented hand lotion and use it regularly. Second, we find Japanese skin care products to be of top quality. This foaming face wash did not disappoint. It lathers nicely, is unscented, and cleans her skin. My wife uses it in every shower and her facial skin is now immaculate. She will never use any other brand. This is the one!

This face wash leaves my skin feeling incredibly clean without any tightness or irritation. The gentle formula effectively removes impurities while preserving moisture, making it perfect for daily use. Packaging is sleek and the subtle scent is pleasant, making my skincare routine a little more enjoyable.

I’m really enjoying this face wash. Cleans well, very foamy. It doesn’t have a scent and seems to moisturize well when paired with the cream. Overall nice quality wash.

The consistency of the product isn’t what I expected from a cleansing gel. Its thick and very oily feeling and I expected it to be like a normal gel cleanser. I actually love it though. It takes off all my makeup and rinses completely clean with no residue and leaves my face soft and not tight. I use it as a first cleanse and use a different cleanser after. My skin is very acne prone but this isn’t breaking me out at all. I checked all ingredients before I ordered and it is noncomedogenic. I took off a star because the actual cleanser box was very dirty and beat up which made me suspicious but the tube looked totally fine so I decided to keep it and use it and so far it’s great!

This cleanser is incredible and has absolutely saved my skin! I swore by Neutrogena hydro boost gel cleanser for ages but, as we're going into winter and I have started using retinal, my (already very sensitive skin) was becoming very irritated. I use this as a second cleanse after the Haruharu oil cleanser and I can't believe it took me so long to try it. The texture is beautiful, it's an airy light foam that is lovely to use and an absolute dream to wash off. Gel cleansers feel much heavier and harder to rinse but this is gone in seconds. My skin is so soft and calm afterwards, it soothes redness and isn't stripping in the slightest. I cannot recommend this enough and will immediately order more so I never run out! I have spent so much money on expensive cleansers and this beats them all. There is no scent and the bottle lasts for ages.

Excellent for dry or sensitive skin or people using acids/actives. Has a gel to oil texture, removes makeup and leaves the skin hydrated but no tackyness or film. I only need a light moisturiser or toner after this

One of the nicest products I've ever used in my face I'm quite heavily "into" skin care and had read good reviews about this so had very high expectations and they have excelled! It removes makeup with ease, no heavily scrubbing required- even waterproof mascara Use as part of a double cleanse (use a water based cleanser after using the oil) for a clean clean but also works really well on its own and leaves skin feeling soft and moisturised with very little need for many other products after it There is almost no scent which is nice because it minimises irritation A little bit goes a long way Use the oil initially on dry skin and then emulsify with a touch of water to turn milky and then rinse off Every trace of makeup is removed I don't wear makeup often but even using as a cleaner without makeup removal is lovely and leave the skin feeling incredible Will definitely be buying again
