Great product. I used them at night and definitely found that they helped with dry eyes. How they heat up I've no idea but they are comfortable and I fell asleep wearing them.

These steam eye masks have become a key part of my sleep routine, and I’ve been ordering them regularly for over a year. This product looks very nice, and it's very easy to unpack and strap around your head. The steam mask essentially works the same as an oxygen-reactive pocket hand-warmer, so it can get very hot. Most hand hot packs caution not putting the product directly next to the skin to avoid burning, so I feel the steam mask is potentially a bit risky to be on your eyeballs. You can kind of hold it away from the skin by inserting your fingers into the sides while it's on your face, but that's not quite as relaxing. Or, you can wrap the steam mask in a cloth, and just not strap it around your ears. As for the ear straps, which are non-adustable, my head is quite small, and the strap size means the mask compresses the eyeballs a bit, which further supports my feeling that it could be dangerous to use this product exactly as the creators intend. For the scent, it's okay. It's hard to tell if it's real lavender or an artificial fragrance, but when the mask has cooled down, you can add the used mask to a linen drawer to make use of the remaining scent. Apart from that, it's a nicely boxed package, and could make a good gift for another adult, provided that you caution that the mask can get very hot. It's a nice comfort treat for winter months, or for someone who needs to support the functioning of the eyes' natural oil glands.

This is the second time I have brought this item , it does what it says on the box and keeps hot for a long time and is easy and comfortable to use . I will buy this again

I found these were the best value pads not needing electronic connection. You can also buy a USB version, and I have one. I have two concerns about this. I'm concerned about having an electrical field close to my eyes and the one I bought does not have a removable cover. Since the intention is that your eyes will tear. This means that it has a limited life before you would want to replace it for a clean one. This style also means you can use it anywhere. I bought a different brand previously. This one is cheaper per item. Each pair is slightly smaller and displays a comic book superhero style mask to anyone looking at you, but that's quite fun. It's big enough. It provides a good quality of heat and it does generate the moisturising effect of your eyes reducing tears. This is very useful in treating blepharitis and other dry conditions. It's also very soothing. You might find it helps you go to sleep and it's relaxing to put on if you're listening to an audiobook.

Great eye masks, much better than a more expensive brand that is advertised all over social media. They stay warmer for a lot longer and the lavender smell is more noticeable. Sooth my eyes and I’m off to sleep within minutes

This is an amazing item that can help people relax and take care of tired eyes. The scent is not super noticeable, but the fit and size is very comfortable. The mask heats up to a relaxing temperature that is not too hot, and I personally feel it helps a lot to prepare me for sleeping if I use one right before bed.

Tatsächlich kann man die Augenmasken wunderbar für einen Adventskalender als kleines Geschenk nutzen. Aber selber nutzen ist auch fein. Die Maske entfaltet eine wohltuende Wärme und ein angenehmes Aroma. Habe sie 40 Minuten genutzt, mit Lounge-Musik fast wie ein kleiner Spa-Aufenthalt. Wer müde Augen hat, für den ist die Maske richtig.

Deze maskers zijn per stuk verpakt en sluiten bij mij goed aan op mijn ogen. Ze laten geen licht door en verwarmen zelf. Echt even ontspannen met deze maskers op! Ik raad ze aan.
