Great quality and variety of instruments for the price.

The media could not be loaded.  I spent a good amount of time reading reviews for all the various baby/toddler Montessori instrument packages and decided on this one. It had all the instruments I was interested in using/hearing, it’s all wooden and well built. I’m very impressed with the xylophone especially, which can often be disappointing. My baby loves hearing all the different sounds and I’m sure they will last into toddlerhood.

I got this as a gift for my nephew for Christmas. Apparently he absolutely loves it and it isn't loud or annoying enough to be a problem for his parents. I'm happy, they're happy, and most importantly, he is happy!

These items feel and look like quality items. My 18 month old loves the bells and shakers. Great value ! Love the flash cards with songs that come for the xylophone (obviously for when she gets powder). The only thing is I am going to take a little sandpaper pad and smooth down a few edges of the wood that are not quite soft enough for my comfort. Overall pleased ! would make a great gift !

This is a weird criticism to have to give but — the xylophone is in the wrong key. If you play up the scale from the bottom note to the top it sounds terrible — very out of tune and jarring. It took me awhile to figure out that even though the keys go from the notes low C to high C, the instrument is in the key of B flat. That means that the scale starts on “Re” and goes to “Re” (as opposed to a typical scale which goes from “Do” to “Do”), which is musically jarring.Otherwise the set is great and my toddler loves playing with it!
