It works!
Yes, it's over-priced. Yes, it's only an O-ring. But it works!

In case your new Ladylux Spray head doesn't quite fit
This o-ring comes in handy if the original happens to be worn, or if you have an older Ladylux faucet and find that a newer replacement spray head doesn't precisely mate when you screw it onto the hose. In either case this new o-ring can prevent leaks that would otherwise drip down the neck and into your cabinet. Hidden leaks are no fun! This item is a Grohe factory original, Made in Germany. By the way, the seller build.com shipped this incredibly fast -- it arrived before a Prime order made at the same time.

If you replace your faucet head you NEED this O ring.
Don't make the mistake of replacing your faucet head without this O ring. The old one is flat and dried out and you need to replace it. I don't understand why they don't include this with the faucet head. It's cheap and necessary. They always include a new O ring with oil filters for the same reason.

critical part
I thought it was crazy that this was not included with the Grohe replacement sink spay head directly from Grohe. They even mention it and include a link to buy the o-ring on Amazon ...... as they don't sell it. Thank you Amazon and what the hell are you thinking Grohe.

Official Grohe part: Exactly what you need if that sprayer replacement is leaking
I needed this for the replacement of this part because it leaked when I tried to install it: GROHE 46173SD0 Accessories Kitchen-Sink-Faucet-Replacement-Parts, Stainless Steel I heard that the O-ring should be included with the sprayer, so I contacted Grohe support. They responded really quickly, but said the O-ring is no longer a separate part. So, they sent me the whole hose. I didn't think I could pry the O-ring out of the groove without damaging it, so I ordered the O-ring through Amazon. I figured if it didn't work, then I'd get a plumber to install the hose Grohe sent me. It's expensive, to be sure. But it's a legitimate Grohe part. If you go to the Grohe site, they actually offer a link to this Amazon product. When I received the product, it came in an official Grohe package. BTW, the Grohe Q&A for the part includes the question of the ID and OD measurements. Pried out the old O-ring (and chewed it up a little), pushed the replacement O-ring into the groove. Leak fixed.

Fit perfectly, no leaks.
The oring fit perfectly, no leaks. All questions and concerns were answered and handeled quickly. I would from this seller again and I recommend this product from this seller, as the wrong o ring will leak and is impossible to find in a store.

They fit!
Solved the leak from the old original. Lesson: replace the o-ring when changing the spray head even though the o-ring is on the hose.

Where the O-Ring Goes...
Pricey for an o-ring but necessary to get the perfect fitting one. In my picture, I showed where it needs to go on the hose which plugs into the Grohe LadyLux spray head.

Does the job
Replaced the old o-ring at the end of the flexible hose on our Grohe kitchen faucet. The original o-ring (about 12 years old) was compacted (or something) and caused the connection with a new replacement spray head to leak. This was not good because the water ran back along the hose and flooded the inside of the cabinet below the sink for at least a day while we were unaware of the disaster. Although expensive for an o-ring, the speed at which it arrived could not be bettered, so it was worth it. My wife was getting tired of having no water in the kitchen. So things were tense ... to say the least.

didn't solve my problem
It arrived by date promised and fitted the Grohe tap. Two problems. 1: very expensive, especially after adding P&P. 2: It did NOT solve my problem (leak at the connection between handle and hose attachment)

Grossly overpriced
This O-ring did the job, but the price was 10x an appropriate price. Grohe should have packaged this with its replacement kitchen faucet pullout spray head. Very frustrating to find that after replacing the spray head, the hose leaked due to the old O-ring (apparently a common problem). Then doubly frustrating to have to pay $19 + tax for a 50 cent new O-ring.
