Really like the ease that it took to apply took a little longer to break apart,( dampen ) but found it was still easy enough , like the natural color , and it does hold water better than the old mulch I was using.

Was looking for a medium that I could mulch around my roses and lilacs. While this is a good product (so far, I just mulched today), I was disappointed in the amount of un-chipped and clumped fiber pieces I had in this block (I bought 2. I haven't rehydrated the other one yet). I expected chips, not bird nesting material. I will update once my roses and lilacs show any improvement or distress.

Easy to use and serves its purpose well.

I buy this block from different companies depending on who has it on sale. I have had it in my yard for 8 years now and love it. I put the block where I want it and let the rain expand it or water my garden and let the sprinkler expand it. It lasts a long time. I think it lasts longer than other mulches and I don't have to mess with heavy bags from the store. It does change color after a while. It won't stay brown, it will turn grayish brown. I haven't seen any slugs on my plants and it doesn't disintegrate as fast as other mulches. Good stuff!
