Hydrating Core Lip Shine with Shea Butter & Vitamin E, Tinted Lip Balm for A Smooth, Glossy Finish & Long-Lasting Moisture, Joyful Pink Rose

I was looking for a duplicate of Pink Honey Almost Lipstick. I liked the color, but was really unhappy with the product. I found it to be drying, and not long lasting. Someone on Reddit recommended Elf lip balm in Joyful. It is a great color, just a little bit of enhancement. It has a very buttery feel, is moisturizing, and is not sticky. It doesn’t last very long, but at the price, who cares if you have to reapply it? I liked it so much I bought another shade, (Happy) which is slightly darker. The only thing I don’t like is that it has a slightly weird odor-I’d almost compare it to canteloupe or melon- but it’s not bad enough to take off a star.

Was looking for a Black Honey dupe and this is close. It’s not the exact same color, this one leans a little more berry forward. The formula is a bit thicker than Black Honey, not sticky, and lasts a while without having to reapply. It does have a darker core at the center that will deposit more color on any dry or flaky parts of your lips, so moisturize before you put it on. It does seem to have some moisture to it as well, though. I didn’t really notice much a fragrance to speak of. It’s a great color for when you want something darker than your natural lip color but don’t want to wear a full on lipstick. It’s great for the minimal makeup look if you like a bolder lip when going easy everywhere else. I carry this with me in my purse at all times. Great value for the money. Highly recommend.

Nearly perfect match to Clinique’s black honey, I applied my daughter’s black honey to my top lip and the Elf brand to my bottom lip for comparison and no one could tell the difference. The color and quality are very nice, lips felt moisturized but not sticky. The color didn’t last super long and I reapply a few times throughout the day, but this is a good value for the money.

I am a cool toned fair olive so a lot of lipstick doesn't look right on me. I've tried Happy, delightful, and ecstatic. I love Delightfull and Ecstatic, they work well with my skin tone. Happy is too warm for my skin. To me, happy looks warmer in person than it does on the listing. Happy and delightful are similar colors, though... If warm colors look better on you, Happy might work best. If you are more cool leaning, delightful may be better for you. I do have to reapply through the day, it doesn't last super long. The texture is nice and smooth, it goes on nicely. It does a good job a keeping my lips moist with a little bit of color.

I am usually a huge fan of e.l.f. products—they are my go-to for affordable, nice-quality makeup. However, this Hydrating Core Lip Shine in "Ecstatic" really missed the mark for me. While the color is beautiful and the initial application feels great, the actual performance just isn't there. I stopped buying it after the third stick. The Application & Color: • The Tint: The "Ecstatic" shade is a lovely, sheer berry-plum that gives a perfect "your lips but better" glow. • The Texture: It goes on very smooth and buttery. The little heart-shaped core is cute and initially feels like it’s going to be very moisturizing. Why It’s Only 3 Stars: • Short Duration: This has zero staying power. I found that I had to apply it constantly throughout the day. If I took a sip of water or even just talked for a bit, the product was gone. It was gone quickly even without drinking water. • Small Amount of Product: Because you have to reapply it so often, you burn through the stick incredibly fast. There isn't much product in the tube itself, and at the rate I had to use it, the stick was half-gone in less than a week. • The "Rebound" Chap: This was the biggest dealbreaker. Once the balm wears off (which happens quickly), my lips actually feel more chapped than they did before I put it on. Instead of soaking in and hydrating, it feels like it just sits on top and then leaves my lips feeling stripped when it's gone. Pros: • Beautiful, sheer color payoff. • Vegan and cruelty-free (always a plus with e.l.f.). • Inexpensive (though not a great value if you have to replace it every one-two weeks). Cons: • Requires constant reapplication. • Very little product in the actual tube. • Leaves lips feeling dry/chapped after it wears off.

This is the best dupe of a Clinique chubby stick I’ve seen. I love the color, it feels just like wearing tinted chapstick, but the color is on par with a light lipstick. Doesn’t dry my lips out. Does not last through eating and drinking very much but that is expected. Will definitely buy again and in more colors!

Was a last-minute addition for a recent trip. This color is so nice on my skin, subtle color and the moisture it brings to my lips is amazing not sticky and long lasting will buy again!!

Feels very soft its not sticky the color is super pretty and it even tastes / smells good it doesnt stay on very long honestly but i dont really expect it to since its just a sheer glossy lip balm it is also layerable you can choose to only have a little bit or add as much as you want
