Rock-Solid, High-Quality Battery Switch You Can Trust
The Blue Sea Systems 6006 m-Series ON/OFF Battery Isolator Switch is exactly what you want in a critical electrical component: simple, reliable, and built to last. The build quality is outstanding — solid terminals, smooth but positive switching action, and materials that clearly hold up in a marine environment. Installation is straightforward, and the compact m-Series design makes it easy to fit even in tight battery compartments. What really stands out is the confidence it gives you. When it’s OFF, it’s truly OFF. When it’s ON, you know your system is connected without voltage drop or fuss. It handles high current loads effortlessly and stays cool under use. Typical Blue Sea attention to detail shows through: clear labeling, removable knob for safety, and excellent corrosion resistance. This is one of those products you install once and then never think about again — which is exactly what you want for a battery isolator. If you’re upgrading or replacing a battery switch, don’t hesitate. The 6006 is worth every penny and sets the standard for marine electrical hardware. Highly recommende

Best quality I have found
Great support and instructions available, built very well and exceeds my expectation of quality. Easy to wire and mount, just wish it came with mounting hardware like screws or nuts and bolts. Best value for my money with such high standards of quality in a switch that is used very frequently. Really makes my battery life last with the ability to use as a disconnect switch.

Heavy duty disconnect in a small package... works great!
I installed this diconnect in my dad's pontoon boat to disconnect the battery and stop parasitic draw on the battery when the boat sits. It worked like a charm. It is very durable with a heavy detent and a audible heavy click into place. The installation was straight forward. It looks nice and is smaller than competing product. It seems to be holding up well and is handling the outdoor weather well. The price is competitive on this one. You get a true marine grade disconnect at a good price.

Nice quality, works well.
Nice gear for 12 and 24VDC lithium systems. The Good: Easy install. Easy clean mounting. Clean, fast connect and disconnect when rotating. Runs reasonably cool (hardly over ambient temps). The Bad: I got nothing, they’re great. ———— However… if you use them OVER the rated voltage use caution. It’s not rated for ‘nominal 48VDC’ (>=52VDC in the Li world). That caused some issues with the mechanism over time. Never failed to make or break a connection. However, arc suppression is clearly visible during high current inrush and disconnect events. One switch began to run a bit warmer after dozen or two of those high current on/off actions. (Yes, I confirmed it was properly torqued with good lugs.) ——— Overall: Great switch. They have operated flawlessly on my 12VDC and 24VDC circuits for well over a decade. Don’t be complacent about the operating voltage rating! (It’s easy to talk yourself into a ‘nominal 48V’ system.)

Blue Sea Power Switch
I bought this to turn on/off my boat's main battery. It works just as intended. It has breakaway access locations on all four sides, so it can accommodate multiple different setups. Blue Sea is a very reputable brand in marine electronics, so I trust it will work well and last. If I recall correctly, it doesn't come with mounting fasteners.

Just installed, but seems like good quality
The switch seems to be made of good solid components, the switch firmly clicks off and on and the studs are very solid, I think this is a product that will last for years

Solid battery switch
Great switch, installed easily in the same screw holes as my last switch that was a different model. Very durable and helps extend the life of my battery. The size is small enough to tuck away but the switch is still big enough to easily operate. Buying from Amazon was a great value compared to my local marine store.

We needed isolation switches for our campervan electrics and after a lot of research we found that these were the most highly regarded. They do cost a little more than the cheap replicas but are of much better quality and there is a reason that replicas are created of these in particular. Easy to install considering we are noobs but that is thanks to YouTube.

I bought some cheaper switches and realized they don't seal properly and are made of cheap conducting components. I did not dare use the cheap switches with the amount of power I want to manage. SO I FOUND THIS SWITCH, ORDERED IT AND WOW, I GOT WHAT I WAS EXPECTING INSTEAD OF A CHEAP KNOCK OFF UNIT. This switch is sealed, is very robust, is made with quality conductors not cheap little bits of metal. THIS IS A PRO GRADE UNIT MADE TO LAST. IT IS TOUGH, SAFE, HIGHEST QUALITY AND IS GOING TO WORK GREAT WITH MY 0 POWER CABLES AT 300 AMPS. Shawn from Canada

Poor quality. After a while of use doesn’t actually turn off all power flow. Not safe.
