Extremely well made, very sturdy and the edges are crisp. I use this pattern tool on leather including using it as a straight guide for cutting. I was looking for a tool that had as straight and sturdy (i.e., thick) of an edge as possible (or circle edge in this case). This tool has all of that and some! I just wished this company made other pattern template tools and made just as solid as this one. Don't hesitate, but it.

This product is a winner
I design and build custom knives and sheaths. When designing it is important to get the ideas accurately laid out on paper, because whatever you cut out of the paper is what will be taped to the material to be cut. Therefore, good, accurate, sharp and clean lines are critical. This product provides all of that. It is perfect for designing knives. I highly recommend this product.
