I think this is one of the better tire/wheel cleaners for the price. I have it on a subscription for at least a couple of years so I’ve received several bottles. As soon as you spray it on a dirty tire you can see the dirt starting to melt off. It requires brushing to do a good job. Using a brush with medium hard bristles and a pressure washer is better. On my car that I wash weekly I never have to spray a 2nd time. In fact, I sometimes can skip the wheels and tires if I stick to my weekly schedule. If I wash someone else’s car I sometimes apply a 2nd coat to confirm I got all the dirt off and I’m impressed with how well it cleans with just one application. It doesn’t really leave a shine, but it looks clean. I would use gloves though. It feels very slippery if you get it on your hands and who knows what chems are in it. I think I got used to the smell as I’ve been using a couple of years, but I remember it leaving an egg smell and if it gets trapped inside the car you’ll have to air it out. I’ve also bought a Maguires version of the same thing. That one I don’t think smelled but the Turtle Wax seemed to do a better job. I think the pink color helps you know where you need to scrub and where you already cleaned. The foaming action makes it easy to spread and apply.

I have a car that's a little over 10 years old. I take pretty good care of, as far as washing it, but for whatever reason, NEVER washed my wheels. Well, it was getting pretty dirty, and it was getting to the point where the paint of the car is pristine, but the dirty wheels just made for a bad look. So I went ahead and got this. Debated between the Iron Remover bottle, and this, and I went ahead with this. And wow, what an amazing product. I followed the directions and it washed away 10 years of grime. I'd say it looks 96% new. The other 4% from me being unable to get to all the nooks and crannies. But it's amazing how the product breaks down decade of break dust and road grimes. I went ahead and washed 2 cars, and I used up a little close to half of the bottle. So I guess this will last you about 4~6 washes. But I did spray quite liberally since this is the first time washing the wheels for over 10 years. Anyways, very impressed.

Used this foaming wheel cleaner today and it makes cleaning your wheel and tires so easy. Just spray on and let sit for the specified time and scrub a little and rinse and you have shiney tires and wheels again. Looking like new again!

I detail as a career and I am constantly testing products that can assist me in doing a better job. I bought this smaller bottle to test out on my own car. My wheels/tires were dirty but not neglected. Tires are always a trouble area for me though. Some wheel/tire cleaners over clean (make tires turn brown) or don’t touch old tire dressings. This product left me with a bare tire, and no browning. It cleaned the wheels easily and I even used the cleaner on the wheel wells with a woolie to agitate. It’s not a spray and rinse product, but not many are. Now I will be grabbing the larger size and trying it in an ik foamer. That will definitely help speed things up. If you can’t get a foamer, pick up a foaming trigger sprayer if you go for the gallon size. I will come back to this and update on how it cleans some neglected wheels (and brown continentals.) But so far it cleans as good as nanoskin non-acid and better than meguiars non acid. What it does more than both of those is how much better it is on tires and the corrosion resistant polymer it leaves behind on your rotors/calipers/lugs.

Left 4 stars because this is an awesome tire cleaner pulls a lot of brown out of the tires but doesnt clean decently dirty wheels compared to other products I've tried. More elbow grease required for clean wheels. But pretty good product overall doesnt smell to horrible.

Brown tires are Black now. Nothing even comes close to the ease and effectiveness of this cleaner. Nothing is better and I have tried the all. Spray on and wait a minute, brush then rinse. TW also makes a Hybrid Tire Shine that is super durable and is the best money can buy. FYI

I was a little skeptical that the Turtle Wax wheel cleaner would be as effective as the marketing information implied. Boy! Was my skepticism misplaced and unwarranted. After reading the directions a couple of times, to ensure I clearly understood them, I applied the product to one wheel on my '92 BMW. The car's wheels have never been cleaned with any wheel cleaner: I preferred to use soap and water. I last cleaned (using soap and water) the wheels about 3 weeks before trying the Turtle Wax HyperFoam Wheel Cleaner: living in the Seattle area in Feb. - March, one can only imagine how dirty the wheels had become. After washing and drying the vehicle, I turned my attention to each wheel. I applied the Turtle Wax HyperFoam Wheel Cleaner as directed, agitated the tire and wheel and then dried both the tire and wheel using a cotton towel. The Turtle Wax HyperFoam Wheel Cleaner was so effective that each wheel looked cleaner than when I purchased the car in 1992! This 'stuff' is phenomenal and works better than advertised! A few weeks later, I applied the Turtle Wax HyperFoam Wheel Cleaner to the tires and wheels on my BMW M6 with the same results! Today, about 2 weeks after applying the Turtle Wax HyperFoam Wheel Cleaner, I performed a quick detail on the M6 and had to do absolutely nothing to the wheels or tires ... this was after 2 weeks of on again, off again rain. I do not know enough positive adjectives to describe how happy I am with this product; how easy it is to use and the quality and durability of the hybrid solution contained within.

Fast acting and powerful, it does a great job on the tires and the wheels at the same time. Cleaned wire wheels and wide whitewalls on a 61 Jaguar, when done, they were the best they ever looked.

This is a very powerful product. Gives a strong pungent smell. Do not overuse it might damage your tyres. After spraying use a hand mitt to rub it thoroughly and after 10 mins wash off. Pressure wash is recommended.
