I have purchased these same lights multiple times! They work perfect for my backyard decor or I use them on some of my DIY pallet projects or landscaping holiday themed decorations. Just put them up and your set! Light quality is very bright, light size is larger than the smaller twinkle lights, great quality, and weather does not seem to affect the lights or solar panel - waterproof in a sense. Remote control is a nice feature though I tend to set the lights and then forget them as I don't really need to make changes to the color or light show.

These lights work great! Would totally buy them again, great value for the price. No issues so far. Here’s what I’ve encountered so far by category. TANGLING: People are saying they get tangled, but I just unrolled a couple feet at a time and stringed them up as I went and that wasn’t an issue for me at all. UNBOXING: Lights are wrapped up backwards when you get them so it takes some brief planning to see where you want to put them. It comes with two stakes (I didn’t use them and set the solar panels in a window sill and works fine). Comes with TWO sets of LEDS in the box. LOOKS (WIRING): I just put them in my window, SUPER discreet solar panels (3 inches across maybe) and there’s a good 4 feet at the end of each roll that isn’t lights but is clear wiring, which is great so at night you can’t see the led lights trailing off to the window in a weird way. During the day they look like thin black wires. BRIGHTNESS: they weren’t nearly as bright as I was expecting. The pictures look brighter than in person because of the light from my window. They’re definitely more like fairy lights, and each ‘bulb’ is pretty spaced out on the string of them, so it’s sparse if you don’t bunch them up. I doubled them back across my cabinets several times and taped them underneath my cabinets and they look great, and are just bright enough to not stumble in the dark when you want a late night snack. These would also be great for aesthetic for parties just for accent or for the kitchen like I did. MODES: you just press the ‘on’ button and they turn themselves on when they sense the darkness outside, there’s no need to keep turning them on and off like some people have in these reviews (who were bothered they have to click through 7 modes to get to the plain light mode, but that is a one time thing, it keeps the same mode during the day until it comes on at night again). Plenty variety of modes. Flashing, alternating flashing, fading, etc etc. I was surprised at the number of modes.

On at dark, off in the morning...recharge during the day. Will only last a year. The solar panels will "fog" up and they stop working--opened one up and it was wet inside. Tried drying and putting in a new battery--worked, but just stayed on. Meaning solar panel stopped working. The included battery is a AA, Ni-Mh, 800mah. If they get a good charge, they'll last nearly all night. Cloudy day, or in the shade during the winter--they'll last 2-3 hours. Quite bright at night, multiple patterns. We wrapped around planters and set them to the everything setting so it rotates through multiples lighting modes. Replace yearly for this price point, I can live with that.

Love these cute little lights!! They are so easy to put up and long. I used these lights for a little Fall/Halloween decor outside my house. They have different settings to twinkle, flash, and change from purple to orange. The solar powered feature is my favorite!! I honestly left the lights on everyday and made sure the solar panel box was facing the sun everyday. They are also water proof as it rained a few times and the lights were fine! Easy to wrap up and store away in a small box with the rest of the Halloween decor.

I purchased a 2-pack of lights several months ago. Strung them out and they worked, but it was a bit of a pain to have these lights come on steady. 8 modes - all I wanted was steady on. After 6 months one stand stopped working. I have since ordered two 2 string units. Both work as advertised. Now - how long will these last - I will update this review if/when necessary. For me, these satisfy my needs. These do come with about a 4' lead from solar panel to first light. I found this to be a problem, but others may like this feature. For me, I just wrapped the excess around the pole holding the sensor, and all works out well. Finally, during the winter months with shorter periods of sunshine, and some overcast days - these lights stayed on - I assume the small battery pack holds enough juice to get by for 24 hours without sun.
