fantastic product for waterproofing and other multiple uses...stretches and adheres well

Admittedly, this is by far the most expensive tape I've ever purchased. But, if I'm going to secure or repair electrical components without cutting corners, this is the tape to use. The tape has a 'UL' listing, as well as IEC approval specific to pressure sensitive electrical tape. Lastly, it is both thicker and W I D E R than the typical electrical tape found in hardware stores. I'm willing to pay for peace of mind.

This is heavy duty stuff! Not for delicate items. I like it better than the other self fusing tapes I have cause it has some tackiness that really helps start the first turn. Comes in a HUGE roll and the 2 inch width completes the job super quick. But like the other reviewer said, STRETCHING IS THE KEY. You gotta stretch the s..t out of it.

I bought this tape to repair a garden hose. The first time I did not stretch it enough and it was not a tight seal. The second time around, I stretched the width before I started wrapping around the hose, then stretched the length tight with each wrap around. Worked like a champ. So be sure to stretch this tape and overlap the edges to get a good tight seal.
