I got this for my daughter for Christmas and she loves it. There are so many pieces and tools which gives her the opportunity to try different techniques that she has learned and apply them on her own.

These paints have a nice weight and they are densely pigmented - especially for such a low price. My only concern would be that most f the colors are very bright so its great if you are painting that way but a lot of mixing down is required if you want to d landscapes or portraits. Good value for the money

This set has SO MUCH STUFF. I would totally recommend this set. The tubes of paint are pretty big too! I like the whole set but I don't recommend the palette. I actually got a piece of glass to use. It's much easier to mix colors that way. All the rest of the set is great. Update a year later: I still love this set and have really decided I love the water bucket. At first I felt it was too big as I'd been using a jar. But I like the ridges in the bottom and the holes for putting paint brushes. I've painted a bit and had a lot of fun. I'm still a beginner but this set has been absolutely fantastic. The palettes it came with are ok... just not my top choice. I like a larger mixing area. Everything is holding up well. Nothing has broken or come apart. I still use the paint brushes although I've bought more smaller sized ones. It's still nice to have the larger ones that came with this set too. And they have a really nice zipper case. It looks very professional. It also protects the paint brushes while not in use. I'm thinking of buying this set for my daughter too.

This kit is very nice. I prefer thicker paint and this stuff is perfect. I needed to use very little paint. The brushes are nice and the case makes it easy to keep organized and protect the brushes. Can’t wait to use all the tools.
