Great design! Very SHARP blade! Well engineered item. Will prove to be the best designed knife I have used as an Electricians Apprentice I am POSITIVE. Three other knives have shown flaws in design or edge retention and have been relegated to the tool box for other forms of slicing and cutting. AUS-8 steel (57-58 hardness) should hold a decent edge for quite some time, and be fairly easy to resharpen when required. Balance is good, and strippers and cutters everywhere makes it a practical tool of this trade. The blade sharpness will remove the hair from your arm easily. That is sharp enough for my needs! Two improvements to this desing would be a spring assist opening set-up, and the pocket clip has sharp pointed edges that catch on material and skin to the point of it being troublesome. Still I would recommend it to anyone needing a good, sharp, lightweight middle sized pocket clip knife! Get one today, for as we know good products are too often relegated to the trash bin so as to draw buyers due the "new and improved" notifications we in America are gullible to. I expect a long life and good service from this great little $40.00 investment!

This is what it is a lower priced ultility knife with some neat wire stripping abilities. That being said for the price it is a very good knife. The wire strippers work great and it has a pretty decent blade for the price. It is not a knife you can hand down to your grandkids, but it is not priced that way either. Good though went into this design, way to go SOG, just make them in the USA not in china! Oh, and a full steel lined case would be nice too, I am concerened this knife could break inside the plastic handle with much force put on it with the blade open. I am using it for telcom and computer wiring and general electrical work around the house and office and it works great for that. I dont have to keep going to my toolbag for the wire strippers, it is right there in my pocket now.
