.
came in the mail in less than a few days. I didn't have to deal with the wires because had the same one in the car so really just needed the screen replaced so it was easy to put on, it did took a bit to connect to Bluetooth and I didn't have to worry about it not fitting in but later on the back up camera wasn't showing but I wasn't too worried about since I was planning on upgrading to a new cars.

Should have bought a more feature-filled and higher-quality product
I drive a minivan for a small transit company. I replaced the original radio for safety reasons, so I could check the GPS, use the driver app, talk/text handsfree, and manage music without looking down at my iPhone. My fleet mechanic suggested this model. First off, our fault - this basic, low-cost unit is missing some necessary features. To use them, you have to plug the phone in and do screen mirroring. The radio's mirrored copy is jumpy. The features this unit does have aren't very stable. - It has gotten lost, shut itself off, or started a loud buzzing that made me shut it off and back on. - The EQ/Loudness may get confused if you make a call or get a "ping" from a phone app. The sound gets soft or the bass gets boomy. You have to clear then readjust the sound levels. - To talk on the phone, you have to crank the volume WAYY up. When the music resumes, it blows everybody's eardrums out. - The unit's music screen is twitchy, and gets lost often/easily. It'll play a song but show NULL info, or info from previous songs. - Most weirdly - when you play a song from the phone, the stereo unit doesn't start it at the beginning. And the longer the song, the farther in it jumps. When I play a 60-min compilation, the music starts about 3 minutes into the song! I get the sense this model is outdated or just not smart enough. I'm returning this one, because the low performance and need to screen mirror don't accomplish the safety goals. I've ordered a different unit with true CarPlay, GPS, and other on-screen features.

No AM Radio
Good looking radio. Sounds great. Easy to program. The only bad thing I found is that it does not have AM Radio. I wouldn't have bought it had I known.

What's best for the car
Perfect fit on a double din set up. Highly recommend and comes with a back up camera and remote. The instructions are in the box and to the point. Highly recommend for a on budget project

Leadfan 7-Inch Car Stereo Double Din Radio Touchscreen Review
The Leadfan 7-inch touchscreen stereo is a solid choice for upgrading your car’s audio system. The display is bright, responsive, and easy to navigate, making music, radio, and Bluetooth functions convenient while driving. Installation is straightforward for most double DIN setups, and the unit connects easily to smartphones for hands-free calling and media streaming. Sound quality is clear, and the interface is intuitive for quick adjustments on the go. While it may not have all the premium features of high-end models, it offers excellent value for the price and is a reliable option for a simple, functional upgrade.

Software locks up and freezes.
Locks up. System freezes when pushing certain buttons or scrolling through songs. Started about a week into use. Only way to unfreeze is to turn car off and back on or pushing the recessed reset button. Trying to push the up/back button in the top right of the screen always leads to freeze up. Unable to navigate folders, so I've got 800 individual songs to scroll through, then it will eventrually lock up again. The good; it turns on, picks up radio channels, plays music. It is what you pay for- Less than $40. Camera works- I only tested it. This unit DOES NOT RUN ANDROID. It is it's own software that allows you to connect to your phone. This unit may be fine for you, but I wanted to listed to my own music files. 2 stars BC I didn't pay much for it.

Great value.
My daughter got me this unit as a gift 2 years ago. But someone yanked my line in cord so hard it broke the socket and cable connector. I found a replacement part online for $1, but shipping was $8 - go figure. So I got a whole new unit, and the old one is on my work bench awaiting parts. It will wait till I have more parts to order. And quite frankly, the older one may not be worth even a $9 repair. Now on to the review. The software has changed dramatically in 2 years. And I suspect it will continue to change a lot over time. There's a lot of features here. Each preset of the 5 band equalizer is fully programmable. It read both of my 512GB micro SD cards in just a few seconds. But it did not recognize any of my playlist formats (m3u, m3u8, pla, pls). There's two ways to access an SD card - one just assigns every song a number and dumps them all into a list. This method becomes more and more useless as your music collection grows. The other method allows you to navigate the directory structure, and select songs by file name. While this method is far easier to find the songs and albums you want, this takes time and attention away from your driving. So don't do it while driving. The DAC is very basic. While it does work with different file types, exactly what file types is not listed anywhere that I can find. And it's not in the maddeningly sparse manual - which assumes you are simultaneously both a genius and a moron. It provides a picture of a screen and names that screen. But gives no further information whatsoever. I have mp3 and FLAC files, and it works with both. But there are a dozen other file types and you'll never know what it can read, except by trial and error. Meanwhile, the DAC is extremely low end - good enough for basic playback, but that's about all I can say about it. This is partly why I connect my Fiio player to it via the aux jack, located just above the USB socket. The amplifier output seems to be a single chip. This produces a reasonably good signal to noise ratio - low hiss unless you use some extreme EQ settings. But for the power it puts out or the distortion, I cannot say. With such a cheap head unit, I just assume both suck. Instead, I use the RCA output into a couple of amplifiers. I can say the RCA signal is fairly clean. However, the remote power wire is weak, and the voltage sags when connected to all three of my amps and external equalizer; the electrical equivalent of 4 amps. It can remotely turn on 2, maybe 3 units, but not 4. I had to run it through a powered relay. The FM radio has improved significantly in the past 2 years. It's still very hard to manually tune in a station. But reception is greatly improved - and now on par with much more expensive units. Once you have tuned in a station, it's easy to set it to memory. And you have lots of memories to work with. The bluetooth synced with my Android quickly and easily as well as with my daughters iPhone. I often use a headset while driving, so I didn't use the built in microphone. When I received a phone call, the radio muted and started beeping. When I used my headset to answer, the radio remained muted. All three seemed to cooperate well with each other. The radio unmuted itself when I ended the call. It has the option to play movies, but the manual makes no mention of what formats it accepts. And quite frankly, you shouldn't be watching a movie while driving anyway. And the colors tend to wash out at greater viewing angles. So I suppose it's fine if your watching from the back seat, but if everyone is wearing a seatbelt, even this becomes more of a nuisance than anything. Basically, watching a movie might be a bad idea in general, unless you're parked. I haven't installed the backup camera yet, but I intend to. I shall revise this review once I have. Also notably missing is any connection for a GPS. Quite honestly, this head unit has tons of features that the manual does not explain. Most notably, the old unit lasted 2 years before a family member wrecked it. Considering the price, that's more than I expected out of it. So the hardware seems plenty durable enough, when not abused.
