On the surface and initial test this is a lovely unit. It paired with my bluetooth speakers after a second attempt, but failed in the playback of a CD that was 72mins long. The final song was unplayable with endless skips and distortion. Not sure if this is a known issue with these units. Apparently some need some sort of firmware update but I can't be bothered. Decided to return and get something better. If you only have CDs that don't go all the way to 75-77 minutes, like 10 -12 song CDs, then you may be fine with this. I am sure if you contact support they would walk you through a firmware update if you are brave. UPDATE: I got a second unit and the playback issue seems to be gone. Not sure if it is that I allowed the caching to save the last songs this time around or not. But happy this unit is working as expected. I was also able to pair it with my AirPods Max and love the full sound I am getting with those.

This cd player is really complete. The sound is impeccable. It comes with earbuds which have excellent foam ear tips. (When using the tips properly, you should roll them around your index and thumb then insert them into your ear canal for best quality sound) Even comes with extra sized tips. This unit has bluetooth which requires patience on your part for recognition setup however I find bluetooth on any bluetooth device sometimes requires patience. Just read the excellent manual that comes in the box and is produced top notch. It's not one of those chinsy fold ups. Great care was put into it's layout. The player comes with a charging cable, (USB-C type) . Latest tech. Also included, a 3.5 male to male wire to use headphones with wire which sound wise is better especially with cds, as they are recorded at 1,411 kbps which is not compared to streaming services which mostly have only 320 kbps for the highest point. This player has two sound outputs so two users can enjoy your cds. The secondary output acts also as an antenna for the excellently programmed FM radio which is included in the decice, There are 5 eq settings so when playing, remember to select the appropriate setting, ie rock for rock sound, classic etc. Before I forget to mention, you can select random play, intro, straight play and other modes. Random is my fav. No battery's needed. Built in with aprox 12-14 hours playtime depending on usage. If you have an sd card or tf card, then there is a slot but your limited to size. I tried mine which I think is larger and I had no issues. Read the manual. Also random is available for the cards. Btw, the unit recognizes mp3 disks or cdr home made disks etc, even folder handling of them. There is a 5 year limited warranty. Awesome, and as mentioned at the top, EXCELLENT Customer Service. Get this toy... It will NOT, accumulate dust, A favor....use your best headphones for maximum pleasure.

The most important thing is to consider the cost of the device. It is great for daily use, for those who are not demanding of sound. Although I want to note that the sound is very clean, good and balanced, but there is clearly not enough power in all operating modes. Working with an SD card without navigation, switching is possible only by directory and you do not see the name. CD Text is not supported, therefore you will not recognize the name of the song, only Track 01, or rather even just 001. During the whole day of the game, I can't get him to discharge, I can suggest that the working time of 10-14 hours is really real. Of the functions mentioned only in the instructions, the player can record from FM or CD to SD card (up to 64Gb), this is a super feature, but the quality is limited to 160kbps, which greatly affects the sound quality. In other words, it's a great player for you if you don't have high sound requirements, but if you want to use it as a source in a good audio system, it certainly won't be the holy grail... My search continues... UPD: BT audio path (part/trackt) is insanely noisy, I would not recommend using it at all. The sound is much better over the wire and without noise.

Most of out music is now streamed, ,but I have CD's that I like to listen to once in a while. This portable CD player works perfectly for my needs.

Nice to have when you need music in a remote space. Good sound. Holds charge. Reliable.

I finally found a Bluetooth CD player that will link to my car. I have a 2026 GMC Canyon. This will connect as a phone to my car’s Bluetooth. You still have to control the play from the player, start, pause etc. my car will only recognize one Bluetooth device at a time so your phone won’t link while this is linked. It works fine for my purposes.

I had to return it because it didn't work in my EV car. Hard to connect via Bluetooth. However, the presentation package and unit itself were great. Nice heavyweight feel to the unit and it did play my CD's with the headphones - like a Walkman (remember those?). Playback was clear. On the plus side, I purchased the KLIM portable CD and cassette player boom box! Should arrive today. No judgment - yes, I have MANY CD's and cassette tapes. Just trying to declutter my collection but I thought I would go down nostalgia lane and listen to the oldies before I get rid of them. Stay tuned for the boom box review!

I've been searching for a way to play my CD's for a while now. Most all-in-one devices for CD playing aren't great but this one is phenomenal. Bluetooth connects fast, nice display, and its user friendly. I like the matte silver color too, it reminds me of an old school 2000's CD player. Great product

The KLIM Nomad is of good quality. The build seems solid and not flimsy including door opening and closing. The buttons have a good feel and make good contact. The display is easy to read and pleasingly, back-lit; a luxury after years with unlit minidisk displays. The sound quality is good to my ear. (I'm 60 and used to work in night clubs so make of that what you will.) I have played music using the line out and the sound is good on a couple of sets of small speakers I own. It sounds great on my big stereo in the house. I have a Bluetooth to FM device in my car and it sounds fine through that. Connecting was not a problem although the seller did warn of potential problems with some bluetooth implentations. I bought this player to play CD audio, mp3 CDs and to use the card socket. All options sound great. Navigation works well and the DIR button will jump you to the next directory on the current media, where present. One slight quirk I found was when navigating directories on the SD card: it doesn't seem to take you the beginning of the directory. Instead, it drops you into the middle of it. I haven't found any pattern yet but my files do confirm to all sensible conventions in terms of naming and metadata so I don't know what's going on there. It is a minor inconvenience. I was pleased to find that the player will remember the point where you pressed stop or turned the unit off, whether that is on disk or solid state storage. I haven't let the player battery go flat though so I don't know if you'd lose your place in that instance. The Nomad defaults to CD when turned on, so if you're listing to content from the SD card and you turn the unit off, it will default back to the CD when restarting. Selecting the card with the mode button will bring you back to the last listened track on the card. (You might be able to fix this 'issue' by removing the CD but I like to have both media on standby and I haven't tried it.) The unit will also connect to previous Bluetooth devices and start playing by default. I turn it on when I start my car and within a few seconds my music selection is playing. Most convenient! I have not tried the FM radio in the device or the supplied headphones, so I can't comment on those, although the headphones look like they might be decent quality. I also haven't had the Nomad on a long, continuous play just yet so I can't really comment on the battery longevity, although so far it seems okay. I thought at one point that I may have made a mistake buying the white unit. I handled it with dirty hands and marked the player but it cleaned up well with a damp, soapy cloth. If I have one complaint about this unit, it would be that I was expecting more from the DIR button. Pressing DIR will take you to the next directory but that could become a bit tedious if you were trying to navigate a card with over 100 directories on it, as I have. I would have liked, even hoped, the DIR button would bring up a list of directories through which you could navigate before selecting the one you want. Alas, it doesn't do that but that is my only significant complaint. The saving grace is that every time you turn on the player, it picks up where it left off. I tend to work my way through my music collection from one end to the other so I will probably be happy to just let it play until it gets to the end. Overall, this is a great little player. I think it is excellent value for the price.

Prodotto eccezionale, per chi ha la nostalgia di questo formato e continua a mantenere una collezione di CD che ascolta è un must assoluto. Buona durata batterie, stabilità nella riproduzione, bel design, una chicca l'uscita cuffie doppia, e tante altre piccole cose che fanno la differenza (anche degli ottimi auricolari compresi nella confezione di serie). Si percepisce la passione di chi ha fatto questo prodotto.

Great value for money and it was very easy to set up. The earphones that come with it are not very good (tinny) and I would recommend a good pair of 3.5mm headphones to get a clear sound. The bluetooth function worked without any issue but again, the sound is not as good as using 3.5mm headphones. The box also included a decent case for travelling, male to male cables for plugging into cars/speakers, charging cable and some stickers. For the price, this is a very reasonable piece of kit. The build quality is surprisingly very good for the price. I am genuinely pleased as to how good this player is as it has exceeded my expectations given the price of it.
