Works well for my needs. Holds a vacuum for hours.

The chamber was a little smaller than I expected but it has held the vacuum without leakage. Construction seems durable, made out of decent quality material. Came with a nice hose. Got the job done for me.

Works well overall. The mounting ring is flimsy and can be prone to leak if not overtightened. Should have been a thread in the acrylic to avoid that issue. Tale care to keep the gasket clean and undamaged as some pressure is required to get the initial seal needed to pull vacuum. Overall a solid entry level vacuum chamber for small crafts and projects.

BACOENG claims an impressive seal time of six hours for this vacuum chamber. I must admit that it was quite a bold claim for me so I tested it the very first day to see whether it lives up to the claim or not. It held the vacuum for six hours straight and the pressure needle didn’t even budge. In fact, I am so sure of this product now that if you tell me that you are having trouble maintaining a vacuum then I would say that you must be doing something wrong and if you are doing something wrong even then you don’t have to worry because you can always contact BACOENG for support. Their support center: support.bacoeng.com is pretty responsive and will help you troubleshoot whatever problem you have got. The response time is really good which just encourages you from the beginning of the troubleshooting. Moreover, the customer self-test form is pretty handy itself as it can help you work through the common problems like vacuum leaks.

This product comes with SAE fittings and good luck trying to get adapters to NPT. Now there is a 1/4 NPT on the product but it is glued and to remove it would compromise the vacuum intergrity of the other fittings. Overall a good product if you buy the whole package and pump. I recommend the manufacter creating a second hole out of the top and switch to NPT.

It may say more about me than the product, but when I got it I made a number of high pitched noises in excitement, and it has yet to disappoint. It’s freaken adorable, and absolutely fool proof. Perfect for those little in home jobs, you know when you’d rather just work in the kitchen so you can see the TV. It defiantly moves a bit when a full vacuum is on it, but far far far less than I was honestly expecting. Its so cute I’ve actually ruined a few test runs out of the fear of getting it dirty. All in all, 10/10 perfect for the small or moble shop to the newbie and crafts person.
