Works great. Make sure you go slow when you retract whatever you attach, especially if the tension is set high. If you let it retract too fast the cable might get off track. Happened to me once but I was able to fix.

I've had this for several months now. It's super heavy but the adjustments seem to work pretty well. I think the plastic parts are pretty cheap so don't expect to be able to make tension adjustments regularly for very long. But for the price it's been really good so far.

Using to hold EV charge cable from center of garage, works really well. Wasn't sure it was going to be strong enough, but I actually lowered the resistance.
