Miracle Botanicals Tulsi Holy Basil Essential Oil - 100% Pure Ocimum Sanctum - Therapeutic Grade (5ml)

I don't particularly care for the scent of regular basil essential oil. It's useful as an insect repellent, but the smell to just too dominant and overpowering to be much good for anything else. Consequently, I was a little hesitant to buy this Tulsi Holy Basil, but my worries were misplaced: although there is a certain resemblance to the smell of regular basil, tulsi is its own--and much better--thing entirely. The scent is much more subtle, much more pleasant, and blends much better with other EOs, although it smells good enough to be used all on its own. The best way I can think to describe the smell is something like a cross between rosemary, bay leaf, and lavender, with a slight undertone of basil, although smells being so subjective, I imagine someone else might describe it differently. In any case, it is extremely pleasant scent, and, I think, universally so. In other words, I think nearly everyone will find the scent of tulsi very pleasing, just as nearly everyone enjoys the smell of a good lavender EO; as opposed to a scent that some people like and others don't, such as geranium EO.

I like the scent of Holly Basil. I put it in my bath and sometimes dab a little on my body to uplift my spirits. It seems like good quality.

I am happy to have found this EO. Not everyone has it. Truthfully I'm not sure of its quality or performance but I'm trusting that it will do what it should. I have a few recipes that called for this and again, I'm happy to have found a company that carries it. Delivery was prompt. The container was in tact. It dispenses fine. So I'm happy with the purchase.

Smells wonderful

I just got this oil the other day and the first thing I did was open it and smell it and it smells amazing!! The first thing I used it in was one of my recipes for my rheumatory arthritis and it works great!!!

I love this tulsi basil essential oil! Smells like basil essential oil with a hint of clove. I love that Miracle Botanicals offers oils that may be a little harder to find and they even have a good selection of rare/hard to find oils. Awesome brand, excellent oils, and I will continue to order oils from Miracle Botanicals.

The Tulsi I have used for years in my products smells like licorice more than clove, but I took a chance ordering this because the reviews were so wonderful. The oil came and smells like clove, which won't work for my needs as my recipes are very specific, but the scent of this oil is very lovely and for those who aren't dependent upon the Holy Basil licorice scent, this oil will work very well for them. The company has been lovely in responding to my emails and has offered a prepaid return label and a full refund. I am very sorry that this didn't work for me.

I just love this smell. I bought it as a sent not for pain or other medicinal effects. Satisfied.
