The real small kernel popcorn didn't fully pop, even though I let it continue microwaving for 3 minutes instead of the recommended 2 minutes. I allowed the extra time as my microwave is an older 1000 watt unit and hopped the additional time would ensure the popping of the entire 1/4 cup of kernels. It did not, yet about half did pop. I look forward to using the unit to heat leftovers and/or new dishes. I will be buying the larger kernel popcorn to retry its popping capability and hopefully be able to modify this review. I also will be trying it in my daughter's new 1250 watt microwave to see if it performs a better popping result.

I really like that it holds one serving. Wish more kernels popped. It’s about the same as my air popper.

I'm a little uneasy about cooking in something made in China. It's a soft container. It did pop my corn really quickly and it was very delicious after I seasoned with butter and salt.

Great product! Really happy with my purchase. I did some research and it is not recommended to use oil in silicone... but that's a personal choice without much evidence. One layer of kernels fills it up perfect. 1 min 30 seconds in my 1200 watt microwave... beautiful. I use Trader Joe's organic kernels which are very cheap in store (not online).I fill a shotglass with coconut oil/salt or butter, heat 10 seconds while I grab a bowl for the popcorn, and enjoy. Put shotglass back in popper for storage and throw it back in the cabinet with no wash. Easy. Also very nice packaging; great gift for anyone. (Except my mom, who said her microwave burns it). I have a pretty crappy microwave but it works fantastic in mine.It's a little larger than a vertical tissue box. You'll need to make multiple rounds if sharing.

Gave as gift son said it really didn't work. Never popped the corn very well.

We ordered a set for ourselves and additional sets to give our adult kids for family game/movie nights. I tried ours for the first time today and am very impressed. 1/4 cup of popcorn at 2 1/2 minutes in the microwave filled the container with lovely, fresh popcorn. It has been years since I have been interested in eating popcorn. The microwave stuff is terrible tasting as well as unhealthy and movie popcorn doesn't tempt me in the least. This needed neither salt nor butter and reminded me of the popcorn we used to have when I was a kid. I would recommend this product without reservation to anyone longing for good, healthy popcorn.

I'm giving it 5 stars because of the concept of the product and the reviews I read so on the purchase and how fast I got it is five stars I will reevaluate because I haven't given it any stars because I haven't given them as the gift yet you haven't seen those surprised reaction or seeing if they work while yet when the recipients of this gift use it I will ask their opinion cuz it'll probably be used right next to me and I will give you a review then
