I am so excited about the look of this fan! It is perfect and very low profile for our low ceiling nursery room. The fan we replaced did not have a remote, so that will take a bit of getting used to, but not having the pull chain hanging down helps my husband from walking into it all the time AND it looks so much more appealing. I did take someone else's advice about having the Hunter logo face AWAY from the door and I am so happy I did, its a little large and in silver with black, it stands out a lot. Ok so onto the install. This is fairly easy as long as you have a basic idea of how electrical wiring works. White to white, green to green, etc. PLEASE make sure you have the circuit breaker off so you don't electrocute yourself! It took my husband about 60-90 minutes to install the whole thing. The directions were simple and easy to follow. We tried to test that the fan was working once that portion was installed. Keep in mind, the lights were not hooked up yet, so it was NOT a complete circuit. We found out, the unit does NOT function unless the entire thing is put together. We spent a solid 20 minutes up and down the stairs and adjusting wires. So avoid the hassle and install the whole thing and hope for the best! If you need to take parts off, it really isn't that hard. My husband installed the fan blades without the washers and I was worried they would be extra noisy, but no issue. Once we got it all together, we discovered the remote was NOT paired like it was supposed to be. No big issue, the directions tell you exactly what to do, we followed them and it worked great. Lastly, I thought the lights were supposed to be dimmable, however. they are not. I saw some other reviews suggest how to make them dimmable, I will try those steps and update. Our fan is on a dimmable dial instead of a switch, so I'm wondering if that is part of the problem. Overall, this fan looks modern and updated. The install was fairly simple and was easily done with one person (I was very good at supervising). The various fan speeds are great, I can't imagine we would ever use the high function, it literally created WIND in the small room! The fan is quiet, even without washers to hold the blades in place and the light is bright but not annoyingly so. I would definitely recommend and I am planning on slowly replacing all the fans in our home with these!!

I ordered this fan to replace one in a guest room with only one power run to the ceiling. The existing fan did not have a remote or a dimmable light. I was impressed with the quality and simplicity of this fan. It works well, is easy to install and very quiet. The remote is very simple and remembers the settings for the fan and light if you turn off the wall switch. Holding down the light button will dim and brighten the light. Unlike many fans on the market, the light kit is not LED string lights. It comes with two standard LED bulbs that you can replace. Hunter fans are know for their reliability and longevity. I have have several that haven't been turned off in over 20 years and still work perfectly. The installation instructions are clear, large type and well written. I was somewhat nervous about hanging the motor by the two small "ears" on the side of the housing, but they worked fine. However, I would be careful not to bump it much while you are doing the wiring. (I put some padding on the floor under it just in case!) I wanted to test the fan before installing the blades and light so I turned it on and it didn't work! I took it down and checked the wiring, but everything looked fine. After some more experimentation, I discovered that the fan will not work if the light kit is not plugged in! Duh! If you want to test, just plug the light kit in and let it hang to see if everything works. Highly recommend.

Update: I did buy 2 more for our other rooms at $120 each. Our remote does dim (I didn't read directions so I don't know if it says it) we figured it out by trial. You just have to hold the light button. I don't really care about the dimming function. This is sooo quiet which is awesome, but we have another fan on in our sons room just for noise 😂. I feel like I like the fan and it works well and for $120 I didn't think the install was that difficult. Hopefully the next to go as smoothly if not more so! UPDATE: one of them really struggles with the remote. You have to hold it up to it at the right point... Not sure if it is a remote/transmitter issue or wiring because I didn't install that one, but all electrical work so it makes me think remote/transmitter I thought this was fairly easy to install. The hooks helped a ton. I did this by myself. I thought the directions were clear and easy. Not sure what other reviews were talking about with difficulty, I have basic knowledge and have changed out almost every light fixture in our house myself, but this was my first ceiling fan I've installed. The only reason for low stars is because I feel like the globe isn't secure all the way. My part only had 2 tabs and they weren't spaced correctly for just 2 so it seems there should be 3... Anyone know? Also, I don't believe my remote dims, but that isn't a game changer for me. Also some of the holes to attach the housing weren't perfectly aligned so that took some time.

Based on some of the reviews, I was a little skeptical about buying this fan especially because it's a little pricier than the others, but I liked the style. I wanted a fan with light(s) but didn't want one with the foofy flowery-shaped light globes. This one is modern, has a low-profile design and looks great in my living room, and best of all, the fan works well with good airflow and is very quiet. The only thing I had a small issue with is that the fan remote did not come with a holster to put on the wall. Had to order one from Amazon but other than that, I have no regrets. The fan is perfect for my needs.

Love this fan!! So we’ll built! Perfect for the room we put it in! If I ever need to replace any other fan in my house, I will choose this one! Super simple to install...looks great! Quiet and just right!

Tiene las aspas muy cortas por lo que solo lo recomiendo para espacios pequeños. En mi caso funcionó perfecto y es un modelo muy elegante y fácil de limpiar

A nice looking ceiling fan, very quiet. The blades have two different finishes, so should work in most rooms. The remote works well, and is easy to use. Would buy again if I needed another ceiling fan

This fan is beautiful. Since my house is 100 years old it took some doing to figure out a way to rig up a support system in my ceiling, but the fan itself was very easy to install. It is my first ceiling fan so i have nothing to compare it to, but I think it's quiet. Just a soft hum from the motor. The fan is so attractive compared to most other fans. I have very low ceilings and the low profile works great for me.
