I bought the cap for cooling the head after chemotherapy. The cap fits will but the inner material is very warm and so the gel packs melt very soon and it does not really cool the head.

Use it for quimiotherapy and still have my hair!

Works great! - a few design changes could be made - the hole you can put your ponytail thru at the top is size adjustable via an elastic draw cord which is great in theory but leaves a lot of extra material bunched up at the top that blocks the gel packs from sitting close to the scalp, it would have been better to just have a small hole. There is also a draw string around the bottom of the band - even set as loose as it would go it still felt tight and kept creeping into my eye lid area, I ended up removing it completely. Gel packs are a great quality, flexible when frozen and feel like they will last. Material used feels nice and is washable. The cap is well suited for wearing even while sleeping or laying on the couch. The little bag it comes to prevent freezer smells is a fail - mine had a hole punched straight thru it and didn't really fit the cap at all, just buy a ziplock. Even with the issues mentioned I'm still giving this a 5 star rating because it works, the relief is amazing & feels so much better. I will be buying another one so I can rotate between the 2 as I like the gel super cold. I wish I had found these earlier.

I get migraines almost daily. I’ve tried multiple hats and this is my favorite! I’m going to buy another one. It has the longest cold retention, adjustable tightness, I can cover my eyes or leave them uncovered, move it down onto my neck more, and it’s soft. It’s also got a little weight to it so the counter-pressure actually helps my migraines more. Another plus, it’s one of the cheaper ones. Hope this helps.

It is a heavenly feeling after a day of stress to put on this cap,but cold retention lasts for 10 mins only. Wish it could retain coldness for atleast half hour

I suffer from excruciating migraines and this has been such a good purchase. It definitely helps the extreme pains until the medication kicks in or when meds just don’t work. I find that if I use it before a milder migraine or headache, it can sometimes prevent it from getting worse. I would give it 5 starts but unfortunately it only stays frozen/cold for about 15 minutes. Usually that’s all you’d want to keep it on your head for but it takes a few hours to freeze again. So you would have to wait a while to use it again but if you have migraines you know what it’s like to want immediate relief or comfort.

It has some weight, because there are ice packs, but it’s not too much and feels comfortable. The gentle cooling helps and I can even lay in it and fall asleep without issue. At times when a migraine is intolerable, this is what has helped me get through the pain. I love that I can adjust the openings to secure it, remove ice packs if there is a place that I don’t need or want them at the time. It’s an awesome product for what it is designed to do and I am so glad I tried it!
