I have gone over to nearly all hydrogen peroxide for cleaning. Using it and hot water for flushing helps get rid of toilet plugs. Using it on a mop for damp mopping cleans floors well. It is a safe cleaner for surfaces that will get food. It gets rid of pet odors without leaving a "coverup" smell. It is especially useful for cleaning in a household where the smell of cleaning products bothers people with breathing problems. I can't buy it anywhere near me, and it took quite a while to find this company that ships it. It comes well packaged in individual plastic bags around each gallon in case of leaks, although none so far have leaked in shipping. I am adding this edit. Lately, they have started putting a hole in the lid. This can assist in aiming it to squirt on something, but it is my understanding that hydrogen peroxide can weaken when exposed to air. I could be wrong about how long it takes to weaken. I saved a couple of the old lids and use those. I imagine you can tape it if necessary.

I use a spray bottle with a 2/3 hydrogen peroxide to 1/3 water dilution and a tablespoon dawn for the carpets. Dogs keep doing things in the sunroom. I work from home in this space and the smell was driving me nuts. Went through so many carpet cleaning products and this is the only thing that works. Yeah removing the carpet would be best I just don't have 3 to 4k to do it so until I can I use the carpet cleaner. have not noticed any damage to the carpet or to my white laundry. Have used same solution to spay shower/tub for cleaning. Wow it worked great. Just remember to wear gloves.

Good that the containers were shipped in plastic bags. So leaked, around 2 cups. Product still intact and works great for the money.
