Really flimsy lamp. You will need a PhD in physics to assemble the lamp shape. Yes you need to assemble the lamp shade.

The design of lamp shade is pathetic and the instruction to assemble is shade is worse than pathetic. The instruction says to unroll and roll inside out to fix the joint however it is not possible to reverse the position already rolled in and to joint the two sides is a nightmare job. I ended up using a white masking tape, should have returned it.

I bought this tall floor lamp to place next to my sofa, and overall I’m quite happy with it. The installation was easy and straightforward, and it didn’t take much time to set up. The design is elegant and modern, and it really adds a nice touch to the living room, making the space feel warmer and more stylish. The only downside is that the base is slightly unstable and wobbles a bit on the floor. However, this can be easily fixed by attaching anti-slip pads (the kind used for the legs of chairs or sofas) to the bottom of the base. After doing that, it feels much more stable.
