This TPM 2.0 Module Chip is for Asus motherboard Maximus Hero VIII and XI. There is a TPM diagram in the motherboard manual. There are other TPM 2.0 Module chip with different pin layout; so please carefully check the TPM Module pin's mapping of your motherboard before placing order. Also, with different pin's mapping, the plug-in-blocking location of the pin on motherboard is different too. If you order the wrong TPM Module Chip, you may not be able to plug it in; or you might bend the pin on motherboard; or in case you can plug it in, the wrong pin's mapping might create problems or making your computer acting strangely. Or whatever else problem it could be.

I liked the simplicity of this item. This adaptor is very compact and seems to operate very stabily!

Lack of protective sleeve makes it very delicate.Difficult to install due to mismatch of size. Plastic male connector a tiny bit to large. Usbc side is slightly to small creating insanely tight fit.

My 570x motherboard has two USB 3.1 Gen 2 19 pin connectors and no UCB-C connector and my case needed one. This installed easily and my USB-C port on the front of my case transfers at full 3.1 Gen 2 speeds. So don't let anyone tell you it won't. The only reason it wouldn't is if the 19 pin connectors on your motherboard do not support USB 3.1 Gen 2.

My MB does not have a port to plug front panel USB C. When plugging the USB C into the front panel, the voltage is very low, It takes way too long for anything to charge. Maybe it's the Port on the board this thing plugs into... But it's annoying and Useless.

Once this product was plugged into the 20-pin USB header on the motherboard, the four small barbs on the product's 20-pin plug refused to release the product to the point that separation of the two required enough gripping, prying, and pulling force to damage both the motherboard USB header and this product.

I installed this to make my USB C for my casework the installation process was simple and I can now charge something like earbuds but I cannot charge my phone or transfer data

blue light comes on but does nothing no charge and no data transfer
