These wireless chargers are excellent! The 2-pack is a great value, I keep one at my desk and one by my bed. The magnetic connection is strong and perfectly aligns with my phone for fast, reliable charging every time. It works seamlessly with my and my wife's phones. This is my first wireless charger It does get a bit hot after a while which is pretty normal with most wireless chargers. It only seems to get hot when my phone was absolutely dead but there is a protective mechanism in the phone that stops the charging process if it gets hot so it doesn’t hurt their at all and once it cools down it starts up again no prob. If you have a thin case this probably won’t be an issue. Thick cases trap in heat so consider that it’s not just the charger. This hasn’t caused issues though. Works how I need it to and for the price I am happy with it. Works fine with a case that i added one of those MagSafe ring stickers to so that I could wirelessly charge with cases that don’t automatically have the magnet, which is nice because only one of my cases has a built in magnet for charging this way and I was originally concerned that using the sticker on a case that wasn’t designed for wireless charging would mean it wouldn’t work but it charged the same as my MagSafe case. So that was nice. I waited a bit before writing a review so that i could use the charger a good bit and make sure that my opinion is coming from an educated place before I write a review that could encourage others to spend their money. I am happy with it. It does what it’s supposed to. it seems to charge just as fast as a wire. side note: Don’t forget to take the protective clear plastic sticker thing off of it first lol. I didn’t realize it was there and I was confused as to why the magnet didn’t work that well. Took it off and it latched on nicely. Would recommend. Good, simple product with good price point. Does what it is supposed to.

Using it for convenient bedside charging of my Samsung and they work well. The magnetic effect isn't significant, since these are designed for iPhones. There is a slight magnetism though which is nice to reduce slippage.

Magnet keeps a good hold on the phone, instantly charges, and charges relatively fast when connected to the wall.

Okay, I hate to write a review like this. I was really excited about this charger after buying it on a Black Friday deal. I want to like it, but now I'm a little leery of it. I only used it once...BUT a few hours after I took my well-cared for iPad off the charger, the iPad started a rebooting loop and would not restore. It had the latest IOS, so not the SW. There was a HW failure of some kind. It's dead in the water and an estimated $300 repair...so it will go to the device graveyard. I can't say definitively that the charger is responsible, but it's hard for me ignore a device failure so shortly after using it (the device had never had problems before, was well treated, and I've never had an Apple device fail on me...especially prematurely in the life cycle). Since this charger doesn't have many reviews yet, it is also hard to see if there is a pattern of device failure linked to it. I so much wanted this to work out since it had the ports & price I was looking for, but can't see myself taking the risk of using it again.
