This is 2 books in one. First, the treasure hunt. So imaginative, infuriating and entertaining! I've spent many nights up late, losing track of time, trying to figure out the clues. If you like escape rooms, puzzles, real-world treasure hunts, then this is a must-buy. Unlike any book I've ever come across before.The second side of the book is the tasks. This part is largely the same as the previous Taskmaster book. However, what I noticed about these tasks (more than I noticed with the previous book) is that so many of them really seem to encourage you to broaden your horizons, learn new skills, try new things, think a different way... Even if you are just trying the tasks on your own, you'll be left with all these new personal benefits - not to mention the usual fun and joy you would expect from Taskmaster!A truly extraordinary book, well worth a buy!

A good way to fill up extra hours. The initial clues are hard but possible. Following those however are a series of easy then impossible until you twist your mind into an Escher like form. Then easy then difficult again. Through the book i have googled so much, searched distant lands and learnt so much useless trivia. But the challenge is compelling and i must carry on to the end. I wont win the head, but i hope to finish.

some activities/ items not usable at home

For anyone that likes puzzles and treasure hunts (and obviously Taskmaster!) this is for you. Be warned, it will take over your life. But it's so satisfying when something finally clicks! There's a real community on Twitter that has come off the back of this, too. I would say you won't regret buying this book - but if you've gone insane from trying the figure it out (like I have!), you may do!Overall, it's a very NICE book.

So this book has given me many sleepless nights - dreaming about Greg and Songs and Bridges and counting.. its a nice book and I highly recommend it but ONLY if you have lots of time and are ready and willing to go down countless blind alleys...the tasks themselves are only just the start - hidden amougnst the pages are the clues to find the silver head - they have proven both blindingly obvious and utterly incomprehnsible....

Hello! Buying this book was a very good choice. Apart from the treasure hunt the book itself has little interludes giving insight into the world of Little Alex Horne. There are also some fun tasks to complete either on your own or with friends.Exciting and maddening in equal measure!

As soon as this was available my husband wanted to order it. We are all fans of the show and this book is a good addition. A lot of the little quiz questions are far too hard for my brain to understand but he seems to be able to answer most of them.
