If you're ok with using predetermined hole placement, this is a great tool. In my case the template didn't allow for the exact location for my handles, but it was a simple step to adjust up and down from the template marks as needed, with a ruler and small square. Also, I was using handles with 5" spacing for mounting, which is actually 127mm. The 128mm spacing worked well enough, as a 3/6 bit allows for just a slight amount of "wobble" for the screws going through the mounting holes. I didn't use the provided drill bit, as I have my own set of vastly better quality bits. Still, you this is all you have, you can avoid splintering on the back by putting a small block of wood behind where you're drilling. I would also recommend using a small piece of tape over the holes you're using and punch a hole through, or using a silver magic marker to draw some crosshairs over the holes you're using in order to easily keep your reference point. There are a lot of holes and its easy to get confused if not paying very close attention. All in all, its very tough to beat this template for the price.

It worked for the most part. My husband didn't want to do handles bc he didn't want the hassle of all the measuring and lining them up so I got this took to make it easier for him and it worked for the most part. I worked on the drawers but non on the wholes where lining up to the middle of the side for the cabinets. So did get frustrated bc he had to still do all the measuring and figure it out but for the most part it work.

I bought this for my daughter as she is remodeling a house. She decided to put knobs/handles on all the cabinets and this template tool made it so much easier. Marking the doors went fast once she decided where she wanted them. Great tool, great $

My ikea pantry doors did not come with pre drilled holes for the handle or a template. This little template was exactly what I needed to not mess up the drilling of the holes. No issues at all with spacing using 5in cabinetry handles.
