It should say on the label. Ask the manufacturer to be sure. It dissolves in water and is water soluble and provides calcium as a supplement for turtles.

What is the differnce between these and Weco Wonder shells?

Dr. Turtle are bigger and more dense than Weco. I used Weco first and switched over to Zoo Med. The Zoo Med Dr. Turtle last longer so you don't have to replace the calcium as often. I think they help keep my aquatic snails' shells harder. Personal opinion. I use one Dr. Turtle for a ten gallon tank.

It says one block per aquarium; however, what size aquarium??

One block can treat up to a 15 gallon tank

Why this product go up in price daily ??

You can put a a price watch in at Camel Camel Camel and when the Dr. Turtle hit the price you want to pay, it will notify you. The price has gone up but so has everything. If you buy them in a ten pack, it is cheaper.
