AirTech Home Automation Vertical Wedge and Base Bracket Replacement for Google Nest Hello Video Doorbell with10-20 Degree Downward View Compatible with Wired (White)

It took me a bit to understand how to install this. You do not use the metal base plate supplied by NEST instead, click the NEST doorbell into this wedge. Your NEST doorbell clicks, and there is a hole on the bottom to release the doorbell if needed. The NEST 15-degree wedge attaches the back to the vertical wedge; that is how I am using it. Using the Airtech provides a better view of the ground near our door. See pictures of with; see more of the floor mat; without it, see less of the floor mat. Note that my original installation was done using washers on the top to provide a makeshift wedge, but this is much better and looks good. I recommend the AirTech Vertical Wedge for the NEST Doorbell Wired.

This vertical wedge works as expected and fits very well. Its color also matches that of a Google Nest Hello.5 stars for purpose and fitmentMinus 1 star for the unknown goo on its packaging (see attached photo). It’s clean inside the packaging though

Mounted my new Google Nest Hello to vinyl siding. Where the wire came thru it put the original bracket pointing the camera angle up way too much. This was a perfect solution. Well made and serves it's function well.

Does what it says and doesn't feel like cheap trash. Comes in a minimalist neat packaging. It just screws on so its an easy install.I vould actually use more downward angle still. With my doorbell location the eye of the canera is 49.5" off the ground. This wedge brought the bottom of the field of view in by 20" towards my door but was just enough to catch the corner of my doormat. There's about another 20" between the door and where the field of view now starts.I was hoping to be able to see packages left directly against my door but this didnt get me there. But more angle would probably look really odd on the wall. So no blame on the product, but just dont expect a crazy amount of picture change with this mount - which might be a good thing for most.

It does the job with one major flaw, once you snap your Nest Hello on, it is near impossible to remove. Unlike the original mount where you simply stick the metal pin in the hole and it pops out, which I did many times, it does not work well with this wedge, minus 1 star. It’s also a cheap piece of plastic. $15 for this is way over priced. For this price it should be made of metal like the original. Minus 1 star. Would recommend but keep in mind, if you need to remove the Nest Hello, be prepared for a struggle.
