Powerful Little Heater That Saves Money.
The Russell Hobbs RHPH7001 ceramic fan heater gets very warm and works really well. It heats up quickly and does an excellent job of warming a one bedroom space without any issues. The size is great as it is compact and easy to move around while still being powerful enough to make a real difference. It is also cheap on electricity which helps save money especially during colder months.

For late summer /autumn bite
This was good for late summer coolness . Didn’t make smart meter go up too Much . Had to workout how to operate . It’s enough for taking cool Off a room. Will earn it up. Not for running full on for hours . It advises also. Not replace a regular heater . I ran it until October . I call it a late summer early Autimn mild cool heater . I like to use it and not consumer tye high power of a real heater . Price was OK Quality ok R Hobbs good I find . Fast

Perfect for my small apartment
I've got 4 rooms, and the temperature inside was 18°c. I brought the 700w device, and it's got all my rooms up to 21°c all on its own. I've had it in the wall for a couple of hours and it didn't take long to warm them up. The best feature about it, and why I brought it due to having pets is that there are no cables and you can move the face around on it too, which helps fit it into different spaces. Although saying that, the plug isn't of the best design and doesnt really support the weight of the device properly. It is noisy as well, not really loud, but not quiet. Overall, though, I'm very happy with the purchase, it's perfect for what I needed.

Small Size But Big Heat?
It was a good idea but apart from the size didn't see the benefit. It didn't warm my room to any significant degree to make enough of a impact.

Does the job!
Brilliant little fan, sited in a plug halfway up wall in a draughty part of my semi open plan kitchen diner, no radiator in kitchen area, and heats up that area quickly and very nicely. Only use sporadically but does the job when it's on!

DANGEROUS!! BLEW UP ON ME.
DANGEROUS!!! Had this since 23rd October 2025 so too late to return, but it just exploded on me when I turned it on! There was a bang, flash and burning smell. Needless to say, going in the bin. Even when it worked, it could only warm possibly your hands...if at very close range! Useless.

Small, electronic functions, Campervan Friendly
This is a small 700W electric heater for £15 (at time of buying). At the current UK electric prices of 29p per kWh, this heater will cost about 20p an hour running on full. Remember, as with any electric heater, that can add up if left for hours running. The good thing is that this can be set to switch on or off on the digital thermostat, so once the room temperature is reached it will switch off and wait until it is needed again. It also can not go over 30 degrees room temperature. I'd never leave any electric heater unattended, but this little heater is great for a campervan or caravan (or small box room). There is no wire and it plugs straight into the wall socket. The instructions say you should have at least 30cm of space below the heater and it can be twisted 90 degrees if required. It can't be obstructed and pulls the cold air in from the back. In my setup (see pictures) it's close to the kitchen worksurface (which is heatproof) but I will monitor how hot this gets. The LOW setting will undoubtedly be fine (and cheaper to run) for the small campervan and is better than using the traditional 3Kw fan heater I have been used to as it is neatly out of the way and not a trip hazard. Of course, you need to be on an electric hook-up on a campsite or have an off-grid power supply to use this. You can set the timer to turn it on or set it to go off after a time as well as it going off with the thermostat. There is a nifty setting to turn it digitally off and it will cool down for 100 seconds by just blowing the fan but killing the heat (quite clever and safe for storage). Powering it off on the manual on/off switch or the plug will disable the cool down. I previously used a smart plug to turn the fan heater on when it was frosty in the morning and on the driveway (hooked up to power). This defrosted and warmed the van up before travelling. Unfortunately, this small heater will not resume its last known state when powered on, meaning that if a smart plug was used it would not turn on the heat remotely. I want this small heater to warm the campervan on cold autumn camping evenings - while in attendance. For this, it is perfectly controllable with the built-in digital functions. It's a good price and seems well made (with a known UK brand) and comes with a 2-year warranty. Bonus! Oh, it comes in black or white and there is also a smaller 500w version available (but strangely currently more expensive).
