Harrow County Volume 4: Family Tree

Come meet Emmy's new family..
Still loving this series. This book we meet "people" that is just like Emmy. These beings claim that they are her family and knew Hester. As time progresses, Emmy learns of their intentions and wonder if they truly can be considered family. I will admit that I finished a bit confused at the end but still able to enjoy it thoroughly.

A Definite Great Read
I love this series. It was different from the type of books I normally read, but I thought I'd give it a shot; I was complete caught up in the story. I'm going to hate to see it eventually end. Definitely a great read.

Wonderful, but needs more story and less supplements.
I like it. It is both charming and creepy. Whenever I think it's getting too cute (think the Andy Griffith Show), something horrifying happens to snap me back into vigilance. I don't think we'll ever descend into the ominous depths of a place like Yoknapatawpha County, but then the writer never promised to do that.I experience the pages (and pages) of preliminary sketch-work as objectionable filler. It annoys me enough that it distracts me from the quality of the piece itself. I most probably will keep on buying the trades, because of the overall excellence of both writing and art.

The writing is good and the art is gorgeous as always BUT it ...
I wanted to give this five stars. The writing is good and the art is gorgeous as always BUT it has so much filler, around 20 pages worth of bad sketches and the entire script for one comic; just junk. When I buy an apple pie I don't want the chef to come out from behind the counter and show me a pile of apples and then charge me for it.

Cullen Bunn and Tyler Crook continue to impress with fantastic writing and absolutely spectacular art
"Family Tree" is a major turning point for Harrow County, pulling back the curtain to reveal the forces that set the story in motion. Cullen Bunn and Tyler Crook continue to impress with fantastic writing and absolutely spectacular art. The book also includes an enormous sketchbook section, full of design work, script pages, and thumbnail layouts.

Just as good as the first three volumes
There's a great display of Crook's process for the artwork for a whole issue here. Also, the finished result is great. The watercolors are always beautiful, and the world of Harrow County has expanded further in this volume.

Otro fantástico número de Harrow County
Fantástico Cómic. La serie es un buen esponente de cómo la acuarela puede hacer que un cómic sea brillante , una obra de arte. Además con este bue guión, la combinación es fantastica.
