Works well as an oven mitt. The heat conducts through after about 10 seconds of holding something hot, and it is very difficult to get your hand out.

I am using this gloves for a week to take meat out of the pit, they are perfect.

this product compared itself to the "OV Glove" of which it is not. I have never baked anything even near 600 degrees but still can feel the heat to the point of having to drop a pan through these gloves.... I would not recomend this product however i did get what I paid for when comparing prices to the original "OV Glove" product which i have purchased for others and now will purchase for myself.
