The Hunger Artist is a tremendous work of short fiction by Kafka, and this volume is translated faithfully and imaginatively. It includes less-known stories and several illuminating essays. Worth buying, but the print is too small!

The stories are great! Perfect! Pure Kafka. The book however is very VERY small solid print and a real chore to read. I have given up and gone for a mother copy that is set better with more white space and less tight margins. It really makes a difference as Kafka for some reason writes MASSIVE paragraphs!
