Perfect swap for Fenders wimpy string trees!!!

The trees are great. They are well made. However, the screws that were sent with them kept sheering off when I attempted to install them. This was even with predrilled holes.Created a big problem because when they sheered off, they sheered flush with the wood and I could not get them out without damaging the headstock... This happened three times and they were extremely difficult to remove.I used a screw I had in my shop and had no problems.So just be aware and use quality screws and you should be good to go. Nice trees, the material looks sturdy, easy to instal, you get sets of two, I only needed one, so I have a sparel. The only thing you might think about is whether you want to use the screws that come with it. They are longer and a little thicker than the original I had. I use the original, didn't want to go deeper in the work or make the hole slightly wider while screwing it. Other than that, you should be happy with them.

I bought the lowest price roller string tree as it's for a project guitar where the high E broke on the original "hook" style string tree. These work very well for the money.

Very pretty, but they're so tall they have very little effect on the strings.
