I like to take vitamin C especially in the cold & sniffles season, but of course the docs all say that it's an antioxidant and good for you all year round. That's something which is really difficult to quantify (whether something is doing us good or not) but I can say that these arrived in perfect condition, they are Liposomal which means that they get past your stomach acid and so get more absorbed by the body. I've noticed no bad effects and if the deal is still the same when they run out I'll be buying more.

Vitamin C is a must, without question; I've been taking 1000mg a day for years and I'm in good health most of the time. I have tried dozens of products; this one is a soft gel capsule, which I find rare in Vit C; they are usually gelatine capsules or hard tablets. Soft gel is the easiest to swallow, so far so good. It says 2000mg, but that only applies if you take two of them, so basically it is a 1000mg product. Lot number and best before date are clearly shown on the box.

Picked these up to give the immune system a bit of a boost – between nursery bugs, sleepless nights, and the British weather, something had to give. I’ve taken standard vitamin C and D before, but this liposomal version caught my eye because apparently it absorbs better. All I know is, I’ve felt a lot more on top of things since starting them. The softgels are a decent size but easy enough to swallow – no chalky taste or reflux like you sometimes get with high-dose C. Been taking them daily after breakfast, and I’ve not had that run-down, dragging feeling that usually hits by midweek. It’s also been handy during the endless stream of baby colds – might just be luck, but I’ve managed to dodge a few sniffles that usually take me down. The added D3 is a nice touch too, especially this time of year when sunlight’s about as rare as a full night’s sleep.
