All right so for the nitty gritty it's keeps my food hot, like still a little too hot to eat hot, for at least 8 hours. Warm, for at least 16. Seals pretty well, pretty easy to clean, storage capacity is as advertised. I don't know how durable it is simply because I haven't had it for long enough for me to throw it against a wall for it to fall out of my bag. If this review remains unchanged when you're reading it that means it has held up to the test of time. I will update if anything changes.

Great thermos-keeps food hot for a long time! Definitely recommend it!

After reading other reviews, I was a bit iffy on getting this container. However, after a few uses, I'm quite pleased. Because of a long commute, between filling and eating can be as long as 8hrs. Three out of four times, my food was hot and mildly steaming when I opened it for my lunch. Just a quick stir and it was perfect because the bottom remained hotter than the top portion. The one time it wasn't still hot but more lukewarm was because I took a shortcut and used a microwave meal rather than heating on the stove.It might have also been because the other times were soups and stews and that fourth meal was a creamy chicken and rice dish. It's almost winter, so that's primarily what I'll be using it for, so that's fine with me. I may test other foods later. Also, the whole heating the inside with hot or boiling water first does actually help retain the heat.I haven't tried with keeping things cold in it yet, but my guess is that it will work well enough.Another plus is how sturdy this little thermos is. I've dropped it more than once and there isn't a scratch on it and I haven't had any spills or leaks beyond the steam causing condensation on the inside of the cup from through the vent.I love this little guy. I may end up getting another one.

As an elder whose meds make her mouth a desert of dryness, this was meant to be a safe, non-toxic, easy-to- carry and clean thermos for water when shopping, walking in the park, or at medical appointments.First for the cons. Thinking I was getting a metal and silicone thermos, it was horrific to discover that the cup/lid is lined in plastic. Furthermore, the screw-in lid has plastic in the middle. So I find myself drinking from the thermos itself. Fortunately, the water tastes great in this thermos with none of the aftertaste often experienced with metal thermoses. With ice it stays cold for a 8 hours. With just cold water, it doesn't. Being clumsy, I dropped it. No breakage--no problem. I haven't experienced leaks even swinging it around. Love both the strap embedded in the cup/lid and the fabric bag with even longer strings that can be used to carry it. The plastic contaminants removed one star, but, otherwise, this is exactly what I wanted and it works exactly as wished.

The size is nice a squat for fitting in a small backpack, has a good color scheme and the rubber bottom is a nice tough. It could have a slightly larger lid opening for the spoon though, otherwise its a requirement to pour out the soup/food to eat it.

My daughter takes her lunch to work everyday and this is an excellent thermos for her food. Stays nice and hot!

Great value, pretty color, durability, lid closure tightly and easy to open, easy weight to carry when empty.

Works very well. It is easy to clean and keeps food warm. I pair it with a nice lunch box and lava plates and the food is perfect.
