great little cooker!
This electric cooker is one of the best purchases I have made in a while! I have purchased the 1.5 L electric cooker. At the time I am typing this, I was able to use it and it worked fantastic. I was able to boil water and cook 8 jumbo sized dumplings at one time. I was also able to cook two packets of ramen at one time. The small manual says to wait 10 minutes for the water to boil on high but it took less than that to come to a boil. I would say about 3 to 4 minutes. There's two different temperature controls and they are vastly different. There is Low and High. High is to be expected and it similar to a med high to high setting on a stove. Low is definitely low to medium low, as when I turn to Low from High, the temperature decreases greatly like it would on a stove as well. This makes the boiling more to a simmer which is great when you are cooking dumplings so it doesn't boil over and also when cooking ramen so it's still hot but not boiling while you are trying to eat. I love the functionality of it as it is easy to eat out of, just be careful of the exposed ceramic as it's hot like a pot would. It does get quite hot on the bottom so I would suggest using a pot holder or as I used, a cutting board, while using and when it is turned off if you want to be careful with where you are cooking. The cooker does cool down quickly, about 8 to 10 minutes when it is turned off and/or unplugged. When using the lid, just be careful as if you are cooking something that would cause the water to overboil, it can overboil. This is on the High setting. I just took the lid off periodically to release some of the steam and didn't have too much of a problem except some drips of water on the side. I don't think it would overboil on the Low setting but I haven't tried with just water since I cooked ramen which soaked up most of the water. I haven't been able to use this yet with anything other than ramen, as I plan to make fried rice in it one day, but it has did me well this first time that I used it. I would imagine making fried rice would go well and not be a hassle. I am very happy at the functionality of it as well as the portability, since it is small enough to take with you, so it will travel very well. It is just very easy to carry around the house as well. Washing it is a bit concerning and confusing at first since the bottom portion or the handheld portion cannot get wet, only the ceramic inside. I would suggest just gently washing it by hand, since it is not dishwasher safe. Go slow and don't turn the faucet on the highest flow to wash it or use a glass to pour water inside so it doesn't spill over the sides. Just use a paper towel or rag to wipe up the drips of water when you tip it over to rinse or dump the water out that way it doesn't go to the bottom. This is what I did before first use and right after I used it to make a meal. Since this is the first time I am using it, I will update in a few months to see how well it has held up, but it did it's job well this first time.

Easy use and clean!
This electric pot is easy to use and clean. Very sturdy. The temperature control was good. I was able to boil water pretty fast on high mode! Low mode is perfect for my egg. This is amazing for when you need a fast meal ! Overall, very sturdy, good size and works well so far. Love it! Just gotta be careful and not let water get into where you plug the cord!

Exceeded expectations
I did not expect for this electric pot to be so versatile and easy to use. It’s great when you come home late from work & don’t want to bother with lots in the kitchen. I heat up canned soup, frozen entrees and the like. For this purpose it’s perfect. You need to set a timer so you can check on the food. The pot has a hot spot so if you don’t stir there is a chance of food getting stuck to the bottom. There is something of a nonstick surface that crisps the food on the hot spot, but left unwatched I imagine it could burn food. I have never left food in cooking in the pot long enough for this to happen to me. Food heats up quickly on the lower setting (there is low and high). 10 minutes on “low” does the trick; frozen food takes a little longer. The size is perfect for 1 person, maybe two. There is a “max” line inside the pot, I don’t recommend filing up to the line as it’s pretty close to the top. For safer use, because the food gets hot, I would not fill up to “max” line. I use the pot at home, but I imagine it would work well in an RV, small Apt or dorm room. Pros: Cooks food quickly at lower setting; easy to clean; good design & size for 1 person; food visible via glass top Cons: pots has hot spot; “on” light in handle not visible unless in dark room

Heats food fast!
I love it. It’s definitely here to stay. I’m a flight attendant and more often than not, there is no microwave in the room or in the hotel at all. This pot is here to save the day. I heated my food in less than ten minutes. It fits in my lunch bag. Well my lunch bag is massive, but you get it. Definitely worth it, super easy to use, and it looks cute! Washed it with a sponge and dish detergent. I hope it holds up for a while.

Love this! It’s so handy. We actually use it regularly because it heats up so fast because it’s induction and it’s really easy to clean. I’ve had it for four months now and it held up really well. Just beware that it heats up really fast so it can burn easily

This pot was OK while it worked but it stopped working after a few uses. The pot became discoloured after absorbing the colour from the food I heated.

Worth the money for its convince and price. Though the non-stick surface will wear off over time.
