working well
we actually needed a cheap soldering iron for fixing our baby's toy, and for this purpose it worked good and acceptable if you need just a tools at home to fix little things I would recommend.

Doesn't heat properly
Apparently the tip of the iron pin doesn't heat up, but rather the sides do. That implies the heating coil doesn't reach the tip making it impossible to pin-point where you want to solder.
