Way better than expected.
I have used the same industrial orbital sander for the past 15 years. It was a 3m that can’t be bought now, all metal and designed for non stop use. Well over $300 back then. Well, all good things come to an end, it finally gave out and I don’t do as much work as I once did. Plus I’m on a fixed income and can’t swing that kind of money now. So I bought this with a little hesitation worried of the quality. It did cone in packaging that certainly indicates it is not made in the USA. I don’t care for hook and loop, so I got a sticky pad for it. I have already put about 15 hours of hard use on it and I have to say, I’m impressed. Low vibration, doesn’t suck my compressor dry. I do have a large commercial air compressor, 80 gallon 7 HP, but it kicks off and on while continuous use of the sander. It runs very similar to my previous very expensive 3m. It fits the palm of the hand nicely, it will stay running while placing heavy pressure on it and it just performs, way better than expected. It is used for sanding paint, bondo and fiberglass, basic body repair. I do not use on wood so could not rate it for that. However, I believe this sander is well worth the cost and I recommend it for being a good quality, durable sander.

So far, so good
This sander is almostidentical to the 2 I had used at work, in a cabinet shop for 10 years. It feels a little heavier than what I remember, but the power and feel is there. I could give a better review in 6 months, but for now after 2 days, it seems good. Very satisfied.

Great sander
This is a great product for the price, I work with a lot of metal and wood for my job and this is one of the most used tools to sand finish a lot of pieces, guys at work liked my Sander so much they bought the same one for themselves. This sander has a variable speed control and spins way faster than most others! I would recommend anyone to try this out!

Nice
I have used it for an hour strait and I am impressed. It is alot lighter and quieter than my Ingersoll, for a quarter of the price. The pressure switch is in a bad place, but I can adapt. Now I will see how long it will last.

A really nice, smooth and quiet sander.
Have to say I've used a H.F. DA sander for at least 3-4 years. Yes, it lasted much longer than a $29 sander should. I felt like I was due for an upgrade. I read all the reviews and bought this one. All I can say is why didn't I make this switch sooner? This sander is sooo much smoother, sooo much less vibration and so much quieter than the H.F. model. It is truly like night and day. This feels and runs like a precision tool. In the 20-30 hours I've run this sander so far it has not missed a beat. The reduced vibration and lower noise level is alone worth the price. Cannot recommend this tool enough. I don't write recommendations often so this is the real deal.

Not professional, better for occasional use.
I work in a fabrication shop Stainless steel, aluminum, standard steel, and wood. Lot of finishing work. After 2 months this thi g is ready to fall apart. 10hrs a day, 6 days a week. When it was new out of the box. It was definitely louder than Dynabrade. Close to the same sound of a Husky air 6". But I would by a Husky before I waste my money on This piece of $###. I have a Husky 6" as well. Good sander. For the price you can't beat it. But if your going to be sanding for hours. Get a Dynabrade. Quiet for a air tools and won't vibrate your hand numb. This cheap China tool is ok for the occasional user. I took a belt sander and sand off the the hook and loop on the pad and made it smooth for self-adhesive 5" disc's. Works great. This sander vibrates more an more as it gets used. Starts getting a little louder as well. For power it's not bad. If you need a cheap sander for once in a while. Buy it. Professional use. Never!!! This thing will cause Carpal Tunnel.

Will tou refund my money on sanders that don't work
Sanders worked great for 30 days, after that the steel fitting wore loose from the aluminum housing. Then after we re-threaded the female threads and got it working, it stop turning off. Contacted the insurance policy that I also bought from Amazon, but no results. I'm returning 3 of tbe 5 that aren't working. My advice is to buy Dewalt sanders. Just another for note, getting ready to order 6 dewalt Sanders to replace the 5 that I bought in September. I'm going to use these red one for target practice since the insurance I purchased doesn't help and no one will contact me Waist of money. Buy Dewalt
