Wonderful gift to a foodie/music lover
Discovering Mozart chocolate during my travels in Austria was a delightful experience that left a lasting impression. The rich and indulgent taste of this chocolate is simply unparalleled. Upon returning to the states, I found myself compelled to source more of this exquisite treat, and it did not disappoint. The blend of high-quality ingredients creates a harmonious symphony of flavors that dance on the taste buds, making it a truly decadent and enjoyable chocolate. The smooth texture and well-balanced sweetness make Mozart chocolate stand out among its counterparts. The packaging, reminiscent of the cultural richness of Austria, adds an extra layer of charm. It's more than just a chocolate; it's a sensorial journey. While my initial encounter with Mozart chocolate may have been abroad, being able to indulge in its amazingly good taste back home is a treat in itself. Highly recommended for chocolate enthusiasts seeking a refined and delectable experience.

If Mozart’s music was edible, it would taste like this. Sublime.
I adore everything about Reber’s Mozart-Kugeln — the gold standard, classic! I even save the little individual gold wrappers to fold into little bookmarks. This delicacy, made by Reber in Bad Reichenhall, Germany, is the single most delectable bon-bon you could ever hope for. If you haven’t experienced Mozart-Kugeln, now is the time. And if you ever get down to Bad Reichenhall, in the beautiful Bavarian Alps (not far from Salzburg, Austria), you must go for afternoon kaffee und kuchen at the Café Reber on Ludwigstraße 10. Regardless how hard your heart or curmudgeonly your outlook, you will be dazzled by the delectivity and emerge smiling. It’s a wonder to behold — and indulge in. Enjoy, dear people!

I ate them all in one day
Yes, yes I did. They were absolutely delicious and a wonderfully different candy. But I knew before they were even delivered that I was in trouble: all that decadent chocolate and marzipan! My favorites! My husband didn’t even know we had them. Okay, I hid them from him and ate them all in one day. And I enjoyed everyone! Maybe I gained a pound but definitely well worth it!

Great Candy
This is one of my favorite candies from Germany. The quality of the product depends a lot on where you buy it though. I have had great experiences buying it on Amazon in the past. That said, the last delivery yielded a discolored and partially melted product with a white coating on the chocolate. Disappointing for sure - especially as the item is not eligible for a refund or return. Then again - in quarantine, you have to be brave... so I tried them, they are delicious regardless. No refund needed :)

good quality chocolates, but a tad sweet
These chocolates have a very thin dark chocolate shell and inner milk chocolate shell surrounding a ball of both almond and pistachio marzipan with a tiny hazelnut chocolate center which has a touch of liquor in it. They are pretty sweet but good, and the chocolate is high quality. I did not realize, though, there was more than one company out there making Mozart Kugel chocolates. I enjoyed them, but they were not the chocolates I remember having and which I thought I was ordering, of the same Mozart theme. The ones I remember had a decadent, thicker, deeply dark chocolate and thinner milk chocolate shell. I remember being floored by the flavor and aroma of the almond and pistachio marzipan layers, which I somehow also remember being a little bit warm and heady, as if there might have been a touch of stronger brandy or some other liquor in them (or maybe it was in the hazelnut center?). Also, I think the chocolate hazelnut center was a larger part of the center. My memory is a bit hazy because it has been a while since I last indulged in these chocolates, but I do remember them being a little bit warmer (though not overly boozy) and with a more pronounced, almost amaretto-like marzipan taste and richer dark chocolate. Maybe my taste buds have aged and lost their tolerance for sweet notes, but, although these chocolates were not at all bad, I did find them to have a sweeter and maybe slightly commercial flavor to them (does that make any sense?), and I also found them less aromatic, overall. I did enjoy them and do recommend them, but am basically sharing my more detailed input in case another shopper out there can maybe help jar my memory to the right direction, and maybe the right Mozart kugels.

Fresh and Delicious
Just as fresh as the candies I buy locally. Same great dark chocolate and marzipan flavor I have always enjoyed. Well packaged and good value.

Good for the garbage only!
Buyer beware! Do not purchase these Mozart Kugel from this seller. Normally these treats are amazingly delicious, but the 2 packages I received were very, very old and completely inedible. The little surprise gift I had hoped to give to someone went into the trash can instead. What a waste of money. I am extremely disappointed.

Very good German chocolate
If you like marzipan, you will love the Mozart chocolates. I used to buy them when I lived in Germany. My son later was stationed in Germany and fell in love with the Mozart chocolate. Now I get them on Amazon which is fantastic since we are all back in the US and can’t get good chocolate anymore.
