I received the product in a reasonable amount of time & the box it came in was not damaged. Upon opening the box it looked like a fairly straightforward job of installing the connectors to the appropriate connects & done. The only issue I ran into was getting the pin layout for my model. Hp doesn't make it easy to find certain information in regards to the motherboard. Once I did locate the correct pins for the front panel connectors. The other two connects were usb & audio. The connections are setup to be a no brained for most Pc's. They are compatible with most modern computers but make sure you get polarity correct on the front panel connectors. I did not have the microphone connection working but since my Bios does not have all it's updated. It has the stock bios but won't update. I'll have to try installing bios from usb to see if it takes. I'm pretty sure that is the cause. Everything else works just fine. The way the microphone connection is setup I couldn't have installed it incorrectly the pin orientation only allows for it to connect one way. The height is a little more than I thought necessary & as you can see is is not much taller than my Ankor or Sabrent 1p port usb smart hubs. It seems to work for my setup were I have most my desk consumed with my 4K 50 inch monitor, a second 1080 monitor & the huge Klipsch Cinema 600 sound bar on a 48 inch wide desk. The Klipsch sub woofer shakes the house! I had to use my filing cabinet next the desk to add a little more real estate. I did have my Pc on top of my filing cabinet but I had no room on my desk. By locating my Pc behind my desk I reclaimed some land on my desk. I can't use a bigger desk because of the geometry of the room has a little study area cutout. This switch has made it easy & not very time consuming to upgrade my environment to make some room. If I have to find a complaint the switch feels a little flimsy on the click, when the button is depressed. And is overly sensitive if you just bump it when unplugging a usb cable. My pc got turned off by barely touching the button. I will update this after I get the bios fully updated to see if the microphone input works. Head phone output works fine. I haven't check out how good the data to anolog bitrate is. I was not able to find the specs for it. I would like to see better information with at least the specs in the box if not a simple instructions pamphlet. I do have a lot of experience with computer repair & college under my belt. But for someone doing a first time upgrade. Some easy instructions for correct setup would be helpful. I guess they expect you to know what your doing. I'll update this in a month or so to let you know if it holds up. For me except for the mic not working it is perfect & the Led switch lighting is not bright or blinding in the dark.Update- This thing is cheap & total crap. I thought highly of this until it started to break. The button is very cheap & flimsy for starters . It flew off after about a month & a half. Then the USB ports crapped out. The company said they would help after his weekend. Then he wrote me back stating, " as a matter of common sense" they would not be covering their unit failing. Trust me there are a lot better products out there. My suggestion look for something better unless you like parts that fail very quickly, buy something else. As a matter of common sense that is.

Works as expected. You'll need your motherboard's manual for the control panel header pinouts so it's not exactly easy to install for the average user. It doesn't have a reset button, just power on/off.

Looks good works well easy to install but does not have a reset function even though it has the connection for it.
