Quoya EX500 Smart Electric Curtain Track- Extendable Telescopic Rail- 1.7m to 3m (Extendable 1.7m to 3m)

Nice easy to install unit, Easy to program. Really quite operation

I bought the EX500 because you don't have to assemble the whole thing and align sections and cut belts, etc. You just pull it out to the width you want and snap a few things in place. It really is as simple as that. As you don't assemble the track, the design means that the track is two tracks (left and right) overlapping each other so the rail sticks out more than the other models but once it's up at the top of the wall you never think about it again. The wall brackets (which should have been included as they are with the QL500) are a bit clunky and stick out a long way. If hanging from the ceiling this won't be a concern. There is a remote which is used for initial setup but not required afterwards if you are using Alexa/Google.It was easy to add to the Smart Life app and Alexa and Google Home then pick it up automatically. On Alexa, you get a percentage slider and on/off options when you use it in routines but not when you just select it from devices (you get no controls). Unsurprisingly, Google Home offers no button or slider access at all but will do everything if you ask it. Voice control allows you to open/close to any percentage you like and the motor has three speeds which aren't that different but opening/closing is quick (8ft wide window takes 10 seconds) and doesn't struggle at all unlike those motors for roller blind chains which always sound like they are about to give up. I have Alexa set it to open at sunrise and close at sunset everyday which has worked flawlessly and never gets old.I've not had any power outages but have pulled it out of different sockets mutiple times trying to decide on the best place to plug it in and that has never caused any connectivity problems (there is no actual Off switch for the blind motor).I think the price is good. If you went for Switchbot-type options then you have to buy one for each curtain side and a hub which works out as the same price as the EX500 but this is a far more complete and powerful solution.Overall very happy and would stick with the EX500 if I didn't need more than 3m width and will be buying another. Surprised there aren't more reviews.

The best part was that it took very little time to get it up and running. The installation or setting up the track is very simple and straight forward task. Putting it up on the wall using the brackets provided, is again simple and you do not have to use all of them (8 small and 2 big) unless you are extending the track completely end to end.The remote pairing and app setup was simple as well. The app allows you to setup different scenes, schedule etc. All working really well so far. Happy with the purchase...
