I bought this to replace the lens cap that came with the stock 18-70mm lens for my Alpha100. I think it's even better than the original one, which is made out of thin, flimsy plastic and I feel like the materials are stronger and perhaps there's some metal springs for the pinching mechanism. The resistance is considerably stronger.The microfiber cloth is also a nice bonus, making this purchase a bargain if you paid less than $5. I don't use the tether strap and it was pretty easy to remove it with just my fingers. If you're not sure this will fit your lens, look at the one you're trying to replace. If it says 55mm somewhere, this is what you're looking for.

Does exactly what you'd think - I bought it as the latches on the Sony lens set that came with my camera had broken, and were no longer securing it to the lens body. Popping it on, it instantly fit any lens for my Sony A65, and was secure. The strap attached was great too - even if it doesn't attach to the lens body, when I take it off I can loop it onto something to ensure it doesn't get lost.

They work, except the lens keeper part of the cap. "String" keeps slipping off. Feel like it's ridiculous to have to buy on line.

Fits funny, isn't very secure but my case is a snug fit so I'm not really to worried if it pops off. I definitely think you could get better for the money though.

I accidentally ordered the wrong lens cap size (58MM). Digital Goja was phenomenal and accommodating in working with me to get the right one. The new cap (55MM) fits well and is what we were looking for. I would definitely order through Digital Goja in the future!
