I ordered this set of capacitors for my workbench. I enjoy kit building and sometimes I need an extra part to complete a project. An excellent set of many of the most common values of capacitors used.

Inexpensive and compact kit with a wide variety of values. This is great to have on hand for breadboarding. The packaging is a little flimsy and difficult for fat fingers like mine, but are more than reusable and adequate, especially if you use with tweezers. Nice to have a place to keep them. A little hard to find when you fit them back into the nondescript black box, but these are minor gripes.

Good selection. Maybe needs a more reliable storage system. The bins fall open a lot.

I tinker, recently had change in work, so this gives me a good assortment of devices to tinker with.

Capacitors came as expected, they were packaged nicely, well marked and arrived on time.

Yes... I know a lame play on words. But without a doubt a great assortment of capacitors. Unfortunately, the cute container is a great idea, but the lids are too flexible to keep the little rascals (the capacitors) from trying to jump out. The other "eeeee" kits, like the LEDs, Resistors, Electrolytic Capacitors are larger and more robust. I have several of those. But the eeeee brand does offer quite an extensive range of capacitance values.

Very wide fluctuation of values. I tested all 900. About 30% are within 2% tolerance. 30% are 3 to 5% and the rest are from 6% to off the charts not useable. One tray was 1 cap short, all the others good. But some values were all useless. Like 330 nf and 680 nf. While some like the little containers, I find them very small. And how do you separate the good from the bad and the ugly? update: retested and the 7 highest values .33 uf to 10 uf are no good. So at least 30% of the total are junk. If you compare the value of the 300 good to the price they are still affordable but make sure you can test them. Check Retired's review. I found some with ESR's of 10 ohms. Not worth the time to return.

Well sorted capacitor. Really handy while prototyping.
