JR2 Painted Black Color Compatible with 2013 214 2015 2016 2017 Honda Accord Sedan Rear Window Roof Spoiler

Fantastic looking spoiler to accentuate the sportiness of your 2013-2017 9th Gen Accord. Quality of the 3M adhesive and spoiler itself seem to be great, and the material is a flexible polyurethane that can bend to match the curvature of your rear windscreen. Will update if any deterioration is noted in the future.Here is my installation protocol. Might be helpful to other rookies like me.1. Prepare your materials. Take the spoiler out of the packaging (mine came in a cardboard poster tube) and let it straighten out on a flat surface for two days or so. Cut out a few 3" wide pieces of cardboard to help guide your spoiler placement as you install.2. Warm up the spoiler. When you are ready to install, leave the spoiler out in the sun for a few minutes (while you clean) so that it becomes softer and more flexible. Five minutes or so will do the trick!3. Clean the area. After cleaning with car wash soap & water, dry the upper rear windscreen, and use 70% isopropyl alcohol to clean away any residual oils or dirt. I recommend using a microfiber cloth to avoid leaving lint or dust behind.4. Position the spoiler. Leaving the adhesive backing on for now, place the spoiler onto your windscreen and use masking tape to hold in place. Make sure it is centered and even on both sides (see pictures, mine was just long enough to line up with the black roof liner on both sides).5. Use cardboard. Slip your cardboard pieces into the groove between the windscreen and the roof. This helps place the spoiler flush against the top edge of the windscreen. Reposition masking tape as needed.6. Adhere. When you are satisfied with the placement, peel off the 3M liner from one end and slowly adhere the spoiler to the windscreen, inch by inch. Use the cardboard pieces to guide your placement. Press firmly to adhere.7. Remove tape and cardboard. Apply pressure along the length of the spoiler to achieve maximum strength. Sit back and enjoy your work!8. Let rest for 24-48 hours. Try to avoid driving your car for the next day or two to let the adhesive bond properly.

Great product. The color compliments my black gloss roof perfectly. It’s a less than 5 minute install (+2-3 min prep time) if you can get your wife/gf/bro/sis/mom/dad/buddy/boss to help you. Just have them hold down and keep one end aligned as you peel away the tape from the other end. Definitely use cardboard as one reviewer mentioned as it will ensure perfect alignment with the top of the window.

Great accessory to a 2017 Accord Sport SE. I didn't realize that it was so flexible. The black matches well with the Crystal Black Pearl. Super easy to install and 3M tape sticks well. I watched a Youtube video on how to install the rear spoiler. The key is to clean surface well before installing. I just lined up the edge of spoiler to the edge of rear window and started to undo the tape.

Easy to install alone. I followed the review guideline by using cardboard box clippings between the glass and body and it came out perfect. I also bought 3m pre-adhesive and it worked amazingly. The piece stands up to daily pressure washes when pre-cleaned right and applied right! Goes well with my rain guards.

Looks freaking nice! I didn't have any of the problems other reviewers mentioned, so that was good also. It was simple, just made sure it fit, cleaned the area it's going to be attached to, peeled the 3M, and stick it on there.

I’ve had this installed for about 4 months now on my 2017 Honda Accord Sport. So far so good. Makes my Honda look more sporty. Adhesive still holding strong. I live in Arizona and we’ve had some pretty hot days around 108 degrees.I only gave 4 stars because some of the paint peeled off when I was taking the masking tape off after installing. As you can see in the photos.My tip to you is to be very careful when removing the masking tape or whatever you use to hold it in place. Besides that I love it. Definitely worth the value if your looking for some aftermarket looks to your Honda.

Here's the thing, the package was completely destroyed and the part was bent in half and exposed...but there was no damage. I removed it from the remaining package, straightened it out, and let it sit for 2 days then installed it. Looks great👍

Very quick delivery. 4 days ahead of the estimated delivery date. 👍👍I installed it myself in less than 15 minutes.1. Cleaned the window with rubbing alcohol.2. Pre-fit spoiler and taped in place using automotive masking tape.3. Then pealed off the 3M tape film as I did the install around the curve of the window.This looks great with the Weathertech window vent visors I installed the same day.
