I love it and you will too!!
I've been using it every day, most of the day at home and in my van for 5 months! My only "complaint" is that it's not really loud enough for a whole back yard. I'm happily going to buy a second!! I can't wait to pair two of these together. Inside the house it's a BEAST. You can adjust the volume lower for great sound in a single room, or crank it up to project into multiple rooms. I carry it around the house and lower the volume when I walk past people and everybody is happy! The bluetooth connects super easily. The controls are easy to get used to. It pairs easily with my computer, phone and MP3 players. They all remember each other and it's super fast to swap between inputs. Waterproof, RICH sound, lots of colors to choose from, lightweight, CLEAR SOUND with a great volume range. I even use it at night on low volume to watch movies when I don't want to wear headphones. I LOVE this speaker. Seriously can't wait to get my 2nd for the epic stereo experience! I'm not even kidding. This thing is GREAT. (Also, it's durable. I've... dropped it a few times. So far so good!)

Sounds way better than my much more expensive Sonos Roam 2.
The quality of this thing is far better than I expected at this price point. It's loud, clear, and has a pretty impressive bass response for a portable speaker of this size. AND IT'S WATERPROOF! You can literally toss it in a swimming pool and it will be fine, up to IPX7 standards. And as such I find it to be the perfect portable speaker for any outdoor event. It charges with USB-C. A cable is included, as well as an aux cord but those are standard cheap quality no charger brick included but not even $1000 phones and tablets include those now so don't complain about that. Just get yourself one good charging brink for multiple devices if you don't already have one. Anyway, back to the quality again, this feels decently well made. The buttons are large and easy to depress and pairing is super simple. Apparently you can link two of these speakers together which I couldn't test but seeing how well this turned out and how affordable these are I may just buy another to test that out. The battery lasts a long time. Long enough for any reasonably normal gathering or event. I had it going 5 hours no problem but it's rated to do twice that, although volume is definitely going to make that battery life vary. Overall, I think it's a solid speaker and it truly does sound much better than my portable Sonos speaker, which costed 3 times as much. I am very satisfied!

I like it...no...I love them
I tend to blow speakers within about 5 minutes of having them. I didn't blow these and it has great volume. Plays kpop and goth music great, doesn't buzz, and the bass is righteous. 🤘 Did I mention....I didn't blow the speakers outright. Hopefully they can survive me for a long time. I like it so much I bought another one already. It didn't take that many hours to charge and it's been playing for about an hour at full volume already....it's still 90% charged. That's more that can be said of most of the other speakers I've bought, including some super expensive name brand ones. Aaaaand, it's kitty cat approved...literally, my cat digs this little boom box, she suddenly has music zoomies! It's awesome! I hope the other one is just as great when it gets to me. UPDATE: the second one came. Charged well too and paired up nicely. I've had other speakers that were supposed to play together but were not in sync. The beat is perfectly in sync with my two speakers. I SUPER LOVE THEM. My kpop music sounds epic and my goth stuff didn't mess up my speaker at all. And I have two other speakers that are almost as tall as me and they couldn't handle my music, they buzz horribly after me. These speakers don't buzz and the screachy songs didn't hurt them, at least, not yet. I think this product is worth every penny and then some. UPDATE: it's still an AWESOME speaker. I played them for days, not straight but a lot, they do take about 3 hrs to charge but that's fine by me since they last a good while on a charge. AND I've tested the range. I can go around my whole house and the speaker doesn't freak out like ALL my other bt speakers do. I hope I have this speaker a long time. I love it to death! I might buy 2 more just to have in case mine ever die for some reason. Oh...and I dropped one the other day. It's perfectly fine. Finally, a speaker that can survive me! Thank you to the people who sold me this. UPDATE! so I've had 2 of these for some time now and....drumroll....I'm still happy. Loud and durable too. I dropped one once and the speaker didn't start to buzz or anything...I think it's just fine still. So I mega recommend this thing

Very Good Sound Quality.. Odd Volume Stepping...
No complaints about sound quality or build quality.. both are solid with adequate bass and bright treble. Strange how they implemented the volume control though, it's not a smooth ramp up or down with infinite adjustment levels like most speakers. They have made the volume level adjust in "steps" or % of full on or full off volume level. So it goes from 0 volume to maybe 5%, the next step is at 10%, then15% and so on up to 100%. My main complaint about that is the steps are pretty large- the first step above zero is very low volume, the next step is pretty loud as in if the speaker is near you it's impossible to have a conversation with someone who's more than maybe 10' away from you because the volume is too high. If you lower it to the next step down, it's very low again and no one can hear the music. Of course that's only a problem if you're sitting near the speaker. I purchased this speaker for beach use and with wave and wind sounds, etc.. , you need decent volume to hear so this speaker will fine for that use case. The large stepping occurs regardless if you control the volume from the controls on the front of the speaker of from the volume control on your phone. I know it's not a phone issue as I have half a dozen BT speakers I use with my phone and this speaker is the only one with the volume stepping issue. One way around the volume stepping issue is to use the included 3.5mm audio cable that is included w/the speaker.. simply plug it in to the Aux port on the speaker and the headphone jack your phone (if your phone still has that port) and control the volume from the phone vs. controlling the volume through the BT connection- using that setup you get infinite volume level adjustments so you can set the perfect volume for any situation. Nice stereo separation/imaging from the 4 front firing speakers. I imagine if you pair a set of these units via BT one will become the left and one will become the right channel speaker? FWIW- it charges at 3.8amps on my USB charger dock, so charging will be pretty quick. Best part for me is the IPX7 rating which means it can actually be submerged in water vs just being splashed if it had a lower IPX6 rating. I'm not intending to submerge it, but being use on a boat then beach... you never know if someone will drop it in the water, etc. All-in-all, at this price point I consider it a keeper and will be ordering the hard case Amazon has linked on this unit's page.

Great sound, easy to use, well designed and durable
Excellent product. I purchased 1 of these to try it out and found that it is very durable and well built. Sound is quite good for a small carry box. I originally purchased for use at my poolside and I liked it so much I bought a second one to pair with the first for a stereo surround system. It works really well for that and pairs with your bluetooth source pretty seamlessly. Good base sound for a small device. Only struggle that I had was when setting up 2 of them to pair together, it is not totally obvious on how to make the pairing work. Turns out you bluetooth 1 device to the source and then pair the second device to the first using some built in capability. I have noticed excellent battery life but would be nice to have some sort of indicator besides my phone telling me the device battery level. The simplicity of the design is just 4 buttons but when pairing there is not a lot of feedback. Once you get it setup, it works great.

I love this thing
I'm a musician and recording engineer and I have had all kinds of portable audio devices over the years and this one is the best bang for buck of all of them. It sounds great and gets much louder than its size implies. It really shines at medium and lower volumes which can still get louder than I normally listen to music. The bass is defined and tight the mid range is detailed and the highs are not harsh. It seems like it has great dispersion as well and can really fill a space. The battery life is crazy. I used it for a 5 hour road trip at car radio volume and it was still at 90% charge when I went to recharge it. It's also easy to take calls on and people have commented on how good it sounds unprompted. It has become the primary device for listening to music, podcasts, and streaming. If you want a capable Bluetooth speaker at a bargain price I highly recommend this one.

Great for the price.
I have a selection of decent BT speakers, and they all sound good (JBL). But I wanted something for outside that has a little punch to it, is waterproof, and doesn't radiate the sound in a 360-degree style like the beer can shaped ones. I wanted something shaped like a boombox that fires the speakers "forward" that has a rugged handle, and not a strap. The directional design, by a wall, and my neighbors won't hear much. If I stand behind it, approx where my neighbors sit on their deck, it's muted. But go in front of it, where I sit, it's very rich and clear. So I took a flyer on this, and I'm impressed. It's exactly what I was looking for. It's heavy(ish) and rugged for out on a patio or on the dock, or wherever you hang out. The sound is very good, I haven't had it up to "max" because i unboxed it at night and took it outside to where i intend to use it, but it was more than adequate for where I plan to keep it. I don't blast it, but i do turn it up. My phone took to it immediately, no funny business. And if I have a few and forgetfully leave it out in the rain, no big deal. I'd definitely buy another if I left it at the beach or whatever, it's a good unit.

HOUL ZALLEE IPX7 Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker 40W (like aka: Aomais Go units)
It's okay; more or less in line with what folks say. It's just like the old Aomais Go model - if you search on that, this comes up. Mine is about 9 years old, with the case, it's shell having polymer degradation, which is now hard to manage; along with the battery never getting to 100%. Anyway, the sound is okay, especially for outside. To me, it's not all "that" loud - but, loud enough to enjoy music if not in too noisy an area. I tried the unit to unit pairing for "stereo", so to speak. It works. It was a bit "glitchy" after the first pairing. Both units did get "stuck" (in their user pamphlet). Also, turning off the Bluetooth on the phone and "forgetting" the unit cleared up like, e.g., could not turn either Off - refused. Then, I noticed once paired to another unit, if "on" (both) it will "auto-connect" as if you want it. Eh, that makes me nervous since I see no way to UN-DO, reverse it now. There was NO warning about that. Actually the "User Manual" is barely adequate, especially if not entirely blue-tooth "savvy". Also, the rename function will not "stick" and may cause a connection problem - so, while I am unhappy having two voxboom units, same name - best to leave it and let it "auto-connect". So, they are a bit buggy, but can be resolved other than the un-pairing unit to unit - again, to me, a Bad-thing. I do prefer the Two Units - to me, it's much more of what it's supposed to be. It won't pair with the old unit, or not mine and read not to count on it. Also, they *did remove the old Mic w/Vol port on the other side. It's true, it kinda never really worked well - very noisy and distorted - no karaoke or guitar jamming to your tunes, etc. Also, so the Aux would only work if had no BT. If wanted to input your, e.g. guitar - that's all you'd do - no BT pairing with that - yes, I tried. I tried everything I could think of. So, if just getting a single unit and pair it one time, and e.g. your phone for streaming remembers it - it should be mostly problem free. And, remember if get two units and Paid *them - it seems, they are Paired and if BOTH are "On" you will have that "stereo" - used one at a time - all was okay (as I said, I tried all I could think of to see if all was okay). So, another thing that makes me nervous is - it's effectively not-branded. Also, the other thing, that bothered me about the old Aomais Go was - it is NOT STABLE on that very NARROW Base. I complained and got a response and some kind of "leaning things" - not a "Stand" to set it in. So, if on a, e.g., Picnic Table - as HAPPENED - to me - if even slightly bumped, will go tumbling and onto the hard concrete - not a good thing. Sadly, they were so new then (9 years as of now) when they contacted me, it was outside of the Amazon Account and had no idea who they were - so ignored them. Their offered solution then was - to send me another unit. That would not have solved the problem and was not seeking a "free" unit with the same issue - why do that? So, do put it on the "ground" or some wide platform for if bumped won't fall, dent, break. Mine, if not for the polymer degradation - would look like "new". That sticky discoloration only just happened over this winter - I don't get why, but it did. I take care of my things. So, if even perfectly stored - it can, will happen. I wish they would not try to make it "feel soft" - just let it be "hard" if eliminates that problem - as I inferred from what I read. IMO, that's what a "Case" is for, put it in a case which could also have a Wide Base to address that other issue. Oh, and lastly, if not for the special deal here on Amazon - to me - they would not be worth the money; there's so many other and far more powerful and cube shaped (stable) and floats - if that were not the case. So, for me, the special deal mattered for if would return it. To me, well I was just not all that impressed - otherwise - okay, not bad, etc. I hope that helps someone.
