Easily the best lemon juicer I’ve used.
The Chef’n FreshForce Citrus Juicer (Lemon) is easily the best lemon juicer I’ve used. It works extremely well and gets a surprising amount of juice with very little effort. The pressing mechanism really makes a difference, especially compared to basic handheld juicers. You don’t have to squeeze hard, and it feels efficient and controlled. While this is the larger size, it works great for lemons and also handles limes without any issue. Build quality feels solid, and it’s comfortable to use. Simple, effective, and well designed. If you use fresh citrus regularly, this is a great kitchen tool and well worth it.

Works great
It produces more juice with less effort than the other similar style juicers. Very sturdy and easy to clean.

Great Squeezer!!!
When this first arrived, I was surprised at the large size of the squeezer.. I even considered sending it back, but decided to give it a try. Glad I did as this is a great product. It squeezes every drop of juice out of a lemon or lime and is easy to use. I have arthritis in my hands, and it is easy to press the handles. I use it all the time, and all I can say is that it really works great!

Best Citrus Squeezer is a Pleaser
Owned the lime squeezer for 3 years. It's awesome, the best. Had a minor issue with the hinge and emailed Chef'n for help. Great company. Prompt response and corrected my issue by quickly sending a new lime squeezer with a nice message. I now also own the lemon squeezer and it works like a charm. The hinge mechanism for both is a very durable force multiplier that allows easy peasy lemon squeezing. Just avoid the temptation to squeeze the day's frustration out on it like you're some kind of an olympian weight lifter. A few tips to triple value of your fruit: 1) Buy a zester and shave the skin of your washed fruit. Dry the zest in the sun for a day or two, then store in a recycled glass jar, add one of those small absorbent silica bead packets they put in everything nowadays. Keep zest on your spice rack for use in salads, baking and drinks. It will last forever, dry at room temp in a jar. 2) Cut fruit in half, then cut two slits in the face of your fruit, in an "X" pattern, about 1/4 to 1/2 inch deep. This will help to not roll over the edge of the lemon or lime when squeezing and allow more juice extraction. 3) Put the used pith/rind after squeezing (minus seeds) into your garbage disposal and run it to clean and freshen your kitchen sink, then rinse. There you have it. 3 valuable uses from a single lemon or lime. You're welcome!

A great tool if you use it properly.
We bought this juicer to replace the ubiquitous all metal powder coated juicers (lemon and lime) we had for years. The old juicers were beginning to lose their powder coating and the pot metal was exposed to the juice. This is a problem because most pot metal contains lead which can leach into acidic solutions like citrus juice. This device has a more complex construction and attempts to use compound leverage and a gear/rack to do a better job at juicing. It somewhat succeeds at this in that I find it very easy to use and it requires little force on the handles to extract the juice. The parts that come in contact with your juice are either nylon plastic or chromed metal (probably pot metal). I don't put mine in the dishwasher every time, but instead hand wash it and carefully clean the acidic oils and liquids off the chrome part so it will last longer. Yes, as many have pointed out, you do have to sometimes use both hands to start a squeeze. And yes, do be careful with exerting too much force on the handles - I can easily see this being a point of failure. One thing I should note about juicing: squeezing the living daylights out of a lime or lemon is NOT the best way to go. When you squeeze citrus too hard, the extremely bitter oils in the skin are extracted in greater quantity resulting in very harsh tasting juice. If you are just doing some stupid cleanse BS and don't care about subtleties of taste and flavor, then by all means pankcake the crap out of your citrus. If however, you want just juice that is bright and appropriately limey or lemony, then squeeze carefully and stop before the skin begins to give up all that oil. Which bring us back to this Chef'n juicer. Because the handles do flex a bit it lets you avoid over squeezing. When the "piston" reaches the end of its travel and the handles start to flex then STOP - you are done and your juice is perfect. Did it get every last molecule of juice out of that poor half lime? No, but it did extract the best tasting juice and that is what most normal people want. So what do we have here? We have a juicer that has succeeded for the most part in making juicing more effective and easier. It extracts very tasty juice when used properly. The shortcomings are actually a result of Chef'ns attempt to improve the process. The mechanism has plastic parts that can, will and do fail. They had to use plastic to keep the product affordable. Does the juicer fail if you use it carefully? I don't know, but I'll get back to you on that. Do I recommend this juicer? Yes I do, but be aware what you are buying. Update 02/26/21 : Still using this juicer at least once a week. No issues that alter performance. There is a little bit of gunk collected around a hinge pin but it is not in contact with the juice and is strictly cosmetic. We do not put it in the dishwasher as I feel that would shorten it's' life. This is a very good juicer for lemons and limes and if you treat it nice it will last a long time

Whoa! Very big!
Not sure what I expected, but I was surprised at this orange squeezer's size. Of course, oranges are much larger than a lemon, so it makes sense. Very sturdy, great value for money. Definitely can squeeze some large oranges quickly. The best one I have ever seen. Wow!

In a class by itself
I have had this juicer for nine years now and it is still working like brand new. It was recommended by America’s test kitchen after the former handheld juicer, they recommended was failing miserably. This juicer is in a class by itself as opposed to the former juicer that I had that broke after a couple of uses.. This is one of the kitchen gadgets that impresses me the most. Unless they have cheapened it and the last nine years, it is extremely sturdy. Yes I put it in the dishwasher top rack and no, I don’t do reviews that often .

I was shocked by some of the reviews on this item, specially once it was delivered (in time from Germany) and I could press lots of lemons and limes with it, getting lots of juice from them. First, drinking fresh juice of this amazing fruits is so extremely healthy, you should not miss it. But then, some reviewers said: It's a bad item, because I cannot use it for large oranges. Pardon me, it is NOT an orange juicer - as the very name of this item says - but it is a lime and lemon juicer. So be happy if smaller oranges work, but please don't complain when larger oranges don't. Because it is a LIME and LEMON juicer. Got it? I find it very unfair against the supplier to post a bad review because an item does not do what it is not supposed to do... 2., some say you can break it. Well, sure, you can break anything. But how were you able to break this? Did you try so hard until it broke just so you could write a bad review? When you use it with even very slight common sense - not much, really needed - then you will NOT break this item, because it is very well build. Third - one review was specially hmmmh... strange, giving one star because the juice smells bitter. Well, if you buy a juicer that gets you up to 20% more juice and then you complain that some of that 20% is just a bit bitter and give it one star then, well, you do not like lemons or limes. Apparently for you everything needs to be sweet. So, on the whole, take this item if you like to get lots of vitamins and you want to get juice out of these fruits without efforts and clean it effortlessly and get the last drop out of them. Don't ever buy one of the electric ones and don't buy another one at all. Because I am a lemon/lime lover since being a little child and.. this is the BEST juicer in the world. Thanks Chef'n fot his well engineered product. Pros: - Well build - Does the job (lemons and limes squeezing) extremely well - Fast and effortless to use - Squeezes better than any other manual or electric squeezer I owned before - Makes me healthier - as another reviewer mentionned, he is buying lemons and limes now just because it is so nice to squeeze them, same thing happened to me. My consumption has doubled ;) Cons: none. seriously.

I recommend this to everybody. It's simply a genius product. With this product you will be spending seconds pressing citrus instead of minutes. Due to the design with a gear that gives it some extra levered power it take minimal effort to squeze the juice out of any citrus. Even kids can use it. Cleans easily, just a rinse and back into cupboard. Love it!

Not sure why I did not get this earlier! Extracts the maximum amount of juice, very efficient, easy on the hands and really smooth mechanism. It's nice and solid as well!

I can recommend this lemon squeeze to anyone. It's sturdy and very practical. The only thing that's missing is maybe a sort of an eye-hook at the end of one of the handles to hang the item.
