I have bought several can openers over the years, from the very expensive brands to cheaper brands. I have always been disappointed after a short time. Took me a while to write a review on this product, as I was using my Oxo good grips can opener, until it started to lose its blade alignment withe the edge of the can, which made it difficult to remove the can lid. The Lantana can opener aligned itself quickly and I was able to start opening the can instantaneously. It did require a fair amount of force to crank the can opener, but the can top came off easily.

This is an amazing device. I even use it on the cans with a pull tab as those leave a sharp edge on the can lid you pull off. I was amazed to feel the edges on both the lid and the can. No ragged sharp edges. Clean and smooth. The only thing that was a small problem is the turn lever was a bit harder than the regular can opener and could be a problem for someone with arthritis in their hands. Overall the results are worth more than a hard turn in the safety factor alone.

More easy to use than traditional can opener and it works well with both large and small cans, leaving no sharp edges. Great value for money! More durable than my old one, can grip it easily and I like the sleek look!

Absolument génial. Fonctionne trés bien. le décolage du couvercle demeure toujours une surprise agréable. Je ne parviens pas à jeter les boites vides qui se referment avec précision. Semble solide et fiable à voir à l'usage, mais l'appareil demeure propre car il n'entre pas en contact ave le contenu. la coupe est franche, on sent que cela mord le métal mais l'effort sur la molette reste modeste. Une vrais révolution trés astucieuse.
