Love this product. Enhances my smoothie in terms of flavor.

Im shocked that this doesn't have 5 stars across the board. Every ingredient in it is great and you can use it as an ingredient in so many things. Pancakes, banana bread, waffles, smoothies etc. And it IMPROVES the flavor! It has a slight gritty taste but only because there are no artificial gums in it, particular Xantham Gum, which studies suggest is harmful to your gut bacteria. All natural and delicious. I did try the blueberry one and didn't like it, but the vanilla one will never leave my kitchen

This is good but VERY sweet and slightly chalky. My best recipe for it is: 1 cup water, juice of one whole lemon (2-3 tbsp), two scoops vanilla powder, and a handful of frozen spinach. It blends into more of a juice but is filling and the lemon really helps cut the sweetness.

My order of the Vanilla protein powder just arrived, and I made a shake as soon as it got here. I mixed 2 scoops of the powder with about 12 oz of unsweetened vanilla Almond Breeze milk and a bit of vanilla extract, then shook it up in a Blender Bottle — and it’s delicious! I plan to try the Chocolate next, then Strawberry-Banana. Over the years, I’ve tried quite a few vegan protein powders since I can’t tolerate whey and milk. I've been on a non-dairy diet for a some years and it can be hard to find a great tasting non-dairy protein. I love that this powder doesn’t contain stevia. I use coconut sugar in my coffee and tea, so when I saw that this product is sweetened with coconut sugar instead of stevia, I was eager to try it. I didn’t experience any issue with the lid, so perhaps that was just a temporary problem for others. I highly recommend giving this a try!

Vanilla flavor is really bland

Container arrives 2/3rds full, at best. Strike one. Amazon did give me a refund, and, obviously, doesn't require a return of the product (because it's food, duh.) so, I crack it open and mix it how I did my last protein powder. It's definitely pea, you can taste that, for sure. I don't mind peas - they're great with mashed potatoes or something. But this? Newp. Strike two. Oh, hey, it's gritty as hell, doesn't really dissolve, and the flavor is like the La Croix of protein shakes - it breezed past a vanilla bean one time, so, we can say it's vanilla. Yeah, hard pass, bro. Strike three. Everything else from Naked (of which, I have quite a few things) has been great. This? Not so much.

Great taste

Hands down the absolute best vanilla protien out there. Not only is it good as a shake, I add it to oatmeal & I make a mug cake with it. I will also mix it with soy milk and make a vanilla protien latte. Too bad there's only 5 stars available because it's a 10 for sure.

So to begin with I have tried lots and lots of different protein powders out there and have thrown a lot of money away. I am vegan so finding a protein powder is essential. So first the lid, yes it's very tight. I just got out my bartender's wine corkscrew opener and pulled the tab/ lever part out and wedged it under the edge of the lid and kind of braced it against the side of the bottle and pulled up which causes the lid to pull out from the neck a bit. I did this all around the lid about 2/3 of the way and the lid just opened easily. You could probably do this with a spoon or a butter knife as well but the corkscrew actually kind of braces nicely under the edge of the lid and was very stable. Now the powder, It's very vanilla, the people who don't think so may be drinking it with a bunch of other stuff in it because mine is very nice smelling. the texture is really good for pea protein, it has no gums in it so it doesn't turn into a hard partially wet mass and mixes very well with Ripple pea milk. I'm not big on huge sweetness so I do find it a bit sweet for me but I am getting some of the unflavoured and will do half and half. I has all of the essential amino acids and I think all the remaining ones as well. It is not chalky at all in my opinion but I am used to some truly unpleasant vegan powders that are slimy, chalky, so sweet it makes your head hurt, contain stevia which is revolting or gummy. I think if you find it chalky you may be used to whey protein because this is very good. I don't mix it with water but a milk that is a little thickened so the texture may be different with different liquids and it also stays mixed quite well with the milk I use although I do shake it before I drink because I just take it as powder and milk with no other additions. I found another great protein powder but I had a lot of B vitamins in it and I am really sesitive and don't sleep well with too many B's but this is good, doesn't have a load of gums or weird stuff added and I can get 40-60g of protein in easily out of what I try for which is 100g per day, yes, I am almost a daily failure in this but I try. So now I finally found something I think I can use long term after so many fails, I am grateful.

Great in fruit smoothies! I lose my appetite when it’s really hot out. I can usually manage some fruit, but that does not give me everything I need. A serving of the protein powder blended in with the fruit makes for a cool and filling meal that I can get down without struggling. I will definitely order it again!

Taste really good.

The vanilla tastes so artificial and is disgustingly sweet. The chocolate is much better even though it’s quite sweet as well (this is coming from someone with a sweet tooth).

Update: I didn’t realize when making my review that it was for a single flavour, it doesn’t allow for reviews on each individual flavour so I wanted to update my review. strawberry-Banana: im pleasantly surprised with the taste. I love the natural flavours and the fact that there’s no strange aftertaste. It’s doesn’t necessarily stay blended and if left sitting for a few minutes you have to shake it up again, but that’s the least of my concerns. It does mix well though in the sense that there’s no lumps, Vanilla: the taste is not great and could definitely use some improving. Like the strawberry-banana, it mixes well (doesn’t go lumpy) but requires a good shake before drinking each time otherwise the powder settles on the bottom. I do enjoy the strawberry-banana one enough to recommend this product. There’s no strange aftertaste, doesn’t cause me bloating, keeps me full and the best part, it doesn’t give me migraines like whey and casein powder does.
