Great knife now with a great sheath
Awesome edc fixed blade. They have updated the sheath. It works great with no rattles and no way for the blade to accidentally drop out. I was even able to assemble to belt clip in a way that allows me to slide it on and off the belt instead of removing the belt. Very small but easy to use if you can control it.

Light and small, but the sheath is dangerous
I went backpacking recently and wanted to have a fixed blade knife available. I normally carry the largest, heaviest, beefiest, fixed blade I can, but decided to go "micro" on this trip. I bought CRKT because they make quality knives and this one was super light. Decent little knife, but the sheath is so bad I think it is dangerous. The knife can (and did) easily fall out of it. Not cool I engineered a fix by using the lanyard to hook into a mini carabiner I attached to the tip end of the sheath. The knife still rattled around some what, but could not slip out unless I unclipped the carabiner from the lanyard. I kept the knife in the backpack because I did not want it on my person where it could possibly cut or slice me. I took two stars off for the safety hazard with the sheath. I am not sure why knife manufacturers often view the sheath as an after thought and do not put efforts into making sensible sheaths. I won't be carrying this knife often because it's just not handy to have around only because the sheath is problematic.

Great value
I love this knife. I use a knife everyday in my business as a restorer of furniture and art. Love the shape and simplicity. Worth it.

Nice knife. Terrible sheath.
I am not sure why companies put out products like this. The knife is a great size and seemed well made. I didn't really even try it due to the sheath. There is zero retention with the sheath and I would not trust it at all as a neck knife or pocket carry. It is a shame, because this could have been a great little pocket fixed blade. Not worth the risk of cutting myself to me.

small slim simple useful
If you're looking to try a small light fixed blade knife for EDC instead of a folding knife, this might be your buddy. Set up the sheath so it carries the knife parallel to your belt and it will carry lightly and invisibly if you have a shirt tail hanging out. Note that the belt loop for the sheath will only accommodate up to a 1-1/4" belt (maybe 1-1/2"); and it's a slide-through loop, not a clip onto the belt. With my knife, I found the sheath to securely hold the knife, even if it hung upside down. My only beef is that the handle is much too slippery. It is NOT as grippy as the photos would imply. It looks like tire-tread machining on the handle would be grippy, but it's not. The handle texture is so shallow that it's hardly more grippy than the smooth steel on the top and bottom of the handle. It makes it hard to pull the knife out of the sheath. Along the same lines, the sheath could use a little 'turn up' so one can press a thumb against the sheath to help pop the knife out. As it is, it'll hurt your thumb tip a little. It could use some jimping along the back of the handle, and even the other side. Weirdly, it has jimping on the small raised finger guard on the blade side, exactly where you really don't need it. ?Weird? All in all, I like the little guy. A lot.
